Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a small rain forest dwelt by some group of monkeys and other tropical animals. Its strategically located in the hearth of Ubud Village. Monkey Forests in Balinese language called Wanara Wana are spread out in the island and Ubud Monkey Forest itself own very important function of the continuity the monkey habitat in Bali. Meanwhile the local community own important role to keep this forest naturally in order to all wild animals able to live smoothly.

Ubud Royal Palace or Puri Saren Ubud is one of the most prominent places in Ubud, as it is smack dab on the main Jalan Raya Ubud road and intersection. The palace can also be regarded as the focal landmark of Ubud. The Ubud palace was built during the lordship of the late Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800-1823) and is well kept by his successive heirs. Great driver, food and experience
We really enjoyed our private half-day tour of Ubud, and our driver and guide, Nyoman, was a big part of what made the experience so enjoyable.
He was punctual, flexible, and helpful throughout the day, adjusting easily as needed and making sure everything went smoothly. We were especially impressed with his driving. Traffic was very heavy in several areas, but Nyoman handled it calmly and skillfully and got us safely to every stop on our itinerary.
The included lunch at Kawi Resto was also excellent. The food was delicious, and we felt it was completely reasonable to pay separately for the additional drinks we ordered since they were not included in the tour package.
Overall, the tour was well organized, comfortable, and enjoyable. Nyoman was professional, accommodating, and dependable, and we would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a private tour of Ubud.

Terrible tour
We were not told that it would take 3 hours of driving to reach the first destination. This ate up much of the journey. Secondly, the restaurant was poor, it took 1.5 hours to finished to wait times and the choice was chicken or chicken.
The guide also did not communicate at all or explain anything to us. All in all it was a pretty terrible tour and I would not recommend it. Just get a taxi and do it yourself for 1/10th of the price and much more flexibility.

Half Day Ubud Tour - Must See!
We booked the half day Ubud tour and had Gita as our tour guide. He was excellent! He was on time, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He took us to all of the places we wanted to see in Ubud and provided us information about each place. We were able to explore each location at our own pace and he provided us numerous recommendations of other popular places to check out in Ubud. He also took us to a local lunch spot which was delicious. Overall my husband and I had a great time and we would highly recommend Gita to anyone looking to explore Bali.

Don’t travel with Nyoman
The tour was cut short due to Nyoman not managing our time well and letting us know 30 minutes beforehand we had no time left to go to the waterfall. Yes the traffic to Ubud was terrible but worse was Nyoman’s lack of communication in moving things along so that we could make it to al the attractions. My suggestion is to either only allow the latest booking for 10am or get the driver to speak to their passengers & update them on timing requirements. Not good enough I am afraid.

Insightful and enjoyable tour
A great day tour visiting the waterfalls, rice fields, Ubud Palace and Monkey Sanctuary, with the added bonus of a tea and coffee tasting along the way. A real bonus was the insight along the journey of the extraordinary creativity and productivity of the Balinese people with endless wholesale stores with beautiful furniture and homewares and an extraordinary number of carved wooden ducks for tourists and exports.
