The complex consists of three main pyramids, built during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty (circa 2600–2500 BC), along with several smaller "queen" pyramids, temples, and the Great Sphinx. 1. From left to right: The Pyramid of Menkaure appears first, smallest in size but sharply defined, with its base wrapped in reddish granite. Next is the Pyramid of Khafre, seemingly taller due to its elevated position, with a noticeable cap of smooth casing stones at the top. At its base sits the iconic Great Sphinx, silently guarding the plateau with a lion’s body and a human face. Furthest right stands the mighty Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and most imposing, with its massive blocks and slightly rougher exterior from centuries of weathering.

The experience was fantastic! Ahmed gave great historical insight even for someone who has read up on the topic! He answered many many questions and was always patient. Step pyramid, Unas, Bent, and Red pyramids were all fantastic. Be sure to see the Bent before the Red, the climb down/in is difficult and easier before the red. Both are moderately difficult. They can be quite narrow. The food and the open museum also was great! The drive was comfortable - air conditioned - very new and clean. They provided small snacks and water but still bring your own. Be sure to bring some extra pounds or something for when you need to tip at the restaurant he takes you to. It was a once in a life time excursion and I will remember it forever. The tour was good and our guide Ibrahim was fun and friendly. The explanations were nice too. However we took the tour after we had seen giza, aswan and luxor so it felt kinda repetitive in its theme but im not a history buff and it was so hot, so that could be why i felt so. Definitely a tour full of history!

An unforgettable day with our tour guide Ibrahim! He was an excellent guide with great knowledge about all the pyramids. One of the best experiences of our lives! Traveled with my husband and booked 2 days of sightseeing with Ahmed!
