Private Full-Day Tour: Balinese Temples and Rice Terraces

Excellent driver and guide – highly recommended We had an absolutely fantastic day with our driver and guide, Dekwi. He was incredibly friendly, kind and pleasant company throughout the entire day. Dekwi did an excellent job planning our itinerary and knew exactly how to make the most of our time. He has a great knowledge of the temples, Balinese history and culture, and was very good at explaining everything in an interesting and easy-going way. One thing we especially appreciated was how good he was at taking photos and making videos of us. He really understood how to capture the best moments and made sure we had some wonderful memories from the day. He was also very flexible and attentive to what we wanted to see and do, and we always felt that we were in very good hands. We highly recommend Dekwi to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and professional driver and guide in Bali. He made our day very special! Thank you, Dekwi, for a fantastic experience!

Excellent service! We booked several days of private tours from Ubud to various temples, waterfalls, and rice terraces. Effective communication by WhatsApp. Our driver, Gus Kumara, was absolutely fantastic: drove very safely, was never late, accompanied us to the temples, shared tons of interesting facts about Bali history, culture, and traditions. Highly recommend for any trips to Bali.

The Tour was really interesting and the Guide Yande was very friendly and patient he drove us around the temple, rice terrace, monkey forest waterfall and gave us helpful information and we even took selfies with monkeys. Highly recommend it

We booked this tour at 11pm the night before with an early pickup and Wayan Jose turned up bright and early for our full day tour to Ubud. Wayan shared with us deep knowledge and insight about Bali, their culture and religion. He spoke good English, being both professional and personal as well as extremely accommodating on the tour with insight knowledge and answering all of our questions. As we were coming to the end of the tour he understood our interest in coffee and offered to take us to a plantation in addition, despite it not being on the tour. We greatly appreciated the offer. He was extremely helpful in organising tickets for getting into each attraction as well as taking family pictures for us in the most picturesque locations. Recommend this tour 100%, you get to see a lot and learn a lot in a short time.

We had a wonderful time spending a whole day with our private driver and perfect local guide, Made. He showed us the best tourist spots in eastern Bali. We were lucky enough to have a good guide for that day. He gave us many explanations and spontaneously offered to take regular pictures. The Ubuud Monkey Forest was our favorite compared to those made in previous years. The temples were soothing and beautiful. I recommend this day!!! ✅👍🏻

Here’s review below ☺️ I was lucky enough to spend the day with Adi who took me to explore the Water Temples and the UNESCO rice terraces in Jatiluwih. Adi collected me from my villa in Seminyak, bright and early, in his comfortable, clean and air-conditioned car. As a tip, I since learned that starting early means you beat the traffic and the crowds at these destinations - meaning you have some of these almost all to yourself. The full trip involved visiting: - Ulun Danu Beratan Temple - Jatiluwih (UNESCO rice terraces) plus an extensive buffet lunch at a neighbouring warung - Batukaru Temple (Pura Luhur Batukaru) - Tanah Lot Temple At each location, Adi spent the time sharing information on the history of the place, its importance in Balinese culture and society along with the cultural significance of individual structures, symbols and statues. Most importantly, as a solo traveller, Adi was generous with offering to take plenty of photos (which were all excellent!), and suggesting particular locations and poses that would suit. Adi was engaging without being overbearing and regularly checked in to see if I wanted to do more or less of something. On the return trip home, there was heavy traffic to get back to Seminyak, but Adi never complained and ensured I was returned to my accommodation. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and my time with Adi and am very grateful for his kindness and generous spirit.
