Upon arrival at Ephesus, we embark on our exploration of this meticulously preserved ancient city. Originally founded in the 10th century BC by Attic and Ionian Greek settlers on the former Arzawan capital site, Ephesus thrived as a prominent city-state along the Ionian coast, approximately 3 kilometers southwest of modern-day Selçuk in İzmir Province, Turkey. During the Classical Greek period, it held significant status as one of the twelve cities belonging to the Ionian League. In 129 BC, Ephesus fell under the dominion of the Roman Republic, marking a pivotal era in its history.
Afterward, a lunch break is scheduled, which is included in the tour. Following that, we aim to immerse you in Ephesus's local culture, showcasing traditional carpet and rug art crafted through ancestral weaving techniques at the Teaching Village. You'll also have the opportunity to appreciate Ephesus ceramics during this experience.
Following lunch, our next stop is Sirince, a charming village with a rich history, stunning vistas, delightful cuisine, warm hospitality, and much more to offer. It represents a harmonious blend of traditional Turkish and Greek village aesthetics. Interestingly, the village was originally named "Çirkince," meaning "ugly," in a playful nod to its hidden beauty and as a deterrent to outsiders. As its scenic location and architectural charm became widely recognized, the village was officially renamed Şirince in 1926.
At the conclusion of our tour, we ensure your timely return to Kusadasi Cruise Port in accordance with your ship’s onboard time. Please be advised: As multiple cruise ships may be in port simultaneously, each with different arrival and departure schedules, we meticulously verify all timings, confirm them individually with our guests, and coordinate our itinerary accordingly. Our tours guarantee your prompt and safe return to your vessel before departure.

Omg I can’t say enough great things about this experience. I’m a US solo traveler and wanted to do something more private where I could take my time to see this beautiful country. And I’m so glad I did!! Isamal & Mete were both so professional, courteous & patient! Isamal was so informative and really helped me understand the Culture and the sights! He helped also when there were any language barriers and even snapped a few pics for me! 10/10!!! Would definitely recommend!!!! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!!!

Amazing & extensive archaeological remains. Our guide Ercument Ozden was very informative and charming, together with our driver Izmael who is a very careful driver. Interesting visit to hand-made carpet weaving experience with chance of purchasing original Turkish carpets or jewellery. Authentic lunch included - very tasteful and good. Visit to rural village. Ideal for strolling around. Popular with locals on Sundays so can get pretty crowded. So glad we booked this excursion.
