The museum houses a large collection covering the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era. The complete burials of Yuya and Thuya, Psusennes I and the treasures of Tanis, and the Narmer Palette commemorating the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under one ruler are among the museum's unrivalled collection. The museum also contains magnificent statues of the great kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, who built the Giza plateau's pyramids. This unusually large museum is completed by an extensive collection of papyri, sarcophagi, and jewelry, among other artefacts.
Will be able to see the citadel from within The copper clock tower in the exterior open court was given to Muhammad Ali Pasha by Louis Philippe of France in 1262 AH/1845 AD. Muhammad Ali Pasha returned the sentiment by placing an obelisk of Ramesses II (c.1279-1213 BC) in front of Luxor Temple. It is now located in Paris' Place de la Concorde Square.
We will see the Hanging church, Egypt's oldest church dating back to the 4th century, as well as the Cavern church, where the Holy Family resided for three months. And we'll visit the Synagogue. Finally we'll return to the starting point for about 30 to 45 minutes.

Driver Mahmoud was waiting at time and had good driving skills. Rasha the guide… what can I say, I think is best guide I ever had on a daily tour. We spent our time with Dalits who was a fantastic guide. She was easy to understand and thoroughly answered all of our questions. We enjoyed all places we visited. I only gave 4 stars because the tour is advertised as a full day tour of 7-8 hours but we returned to our hotel after 4.5 hours. Considering this, we were still satisfied with the tour and the price paid was fair.

The whole day was very good indeed. Ghana, the guide, arrived very early. She was very friendly and cooperative. She made it clear that she was there to make the day as good as possible for us and was flexible and helpful. I would recommend Ghada as a tour guide for a day in Cairo.

It was our second day with Timour. To visit the Egyptian Museum was so cool and the Citadel was an amazing Palace with a beautiful views of Cairo. The Old Cairo Tour was nice to see because you can see what the different is the city. Spending time with our driver Timour was nice, he made us feel safe and comfortable and laught with him a lot.

The tour was imagine to the National Museum of the Egyptian Civilization, Cairo Citadel... The friendly Host and guide made my things more smoother as it was very short trip....
