Visit the African Penguins' colony and hear their sound and find out why they are nicknamed the jackass penguins. Return journey back to accommodation/hotel end of tour. Duration allows for travel time. Tours can be flexible within the time limit.
See Simon's Town harbour, home of the South African Navy among other things and have lunch (own expense).
Enjoy a visit to the Cape of Good Hope in Cape Point Nature Reserve, the southwestern most point of Africa.
Line up to ride up the only commercial funicular of its type in Africa, at Cape Point. It was named after the local legend of the Flying Dutchman ghost ship. The funicular line runs from a lower station at the Cape Point car park, up a steep slope through the dense fynbos foliage to the lighthouse and viewing point.
Enjoy a driving along one of the world's most scenic roads and stop at one of the viewing points for photos.
Pass by Hout Bay harbour town en route to Chapman's Peak Drive and lookout point.

We (2 Septegenarians) had the pleasure to book a Cape peninsula tour which was customised to suit us and not a timetable! We had a very knowledgeable young lady tour guide Felicity who gave us various options and advice during our very interesting day. We are pretty mobile and access in and out of the vehicle was easy,we travelled along a beautiful scenic route taking in a visit to Groot Constantine vineyard, Simons town where we stopped for coffee. On then to Boulders to see the penguins, continuing after through the Cape National Park where we were fortunate to see Eland. Next stop Cape point with it's fantastic views. We then travelled to Cape point vineyard restaurant for wine tasting (and purchasing) some excellent wines followed by a sumptuous meal.I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant! The finale was a drive along stunning Chapmans peak drive where our driver assisted 2 French hikers onto our vehicle so that they could safely traverse a troupe of Baboons on the road.All of this was managed at our pace and choice,one thing to remember when comparing prices are the various tolls and entrance fees along the way which we were informed when booking.
