Although Santa Maria Bay and Chileno Bay are located only a short distance apart, they offer noticeably different coastal environments. Santa Maria's horseshoe-shaped cove provides natural protection from prevailing swell, while Chileno Bay is characterized by extensive rocky reef systems that support diverse marine habitats. Traveling between the two by kayak creates a unique perspective of the coastline that is not available from shore. The combination of paddling and snorkeling also allows travelers to experience both the surface and underwater environments of the Sea of Cortez, gaining a deeper appreciation for the marine ecosystems that have made Los Cabos one of Mexico's most celebrated coastal destinations.

Begin your private adventure at Santa Maria Bay, a protected horseshoe-shaped cove known for its calm waters and scenic surroundings. After a brief orientation and equipment setup, launch directly from the beach and paddle along the coastline while your guide shares information about the area's marine environment and geography. Depending on conditions, portions of the snorkeling experience may also take place within the bay.
Continue toward Chileno Bay, where you'll enjoy a combination of kayaking, snorkeling, and coastal exploration. Known for its clear water and rocky reef habitat, this protected marine area offers excellent opportunities to observe the underwater environment of the Sea of Cortez. The private format allows flexibility to spend more time in the water, snorkeling, or enjoying the scenery before concluding the experience.

• Complimentary round-trip transportation is available from hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor • If your hotel is not listed, feel free to contact us so we can check transportation availability for your area • Guests arriving with their own vehicle may meet at Plaza Gali OXXO or directly at Santa Maria Beach, where the experience begins • Hotels outside the main tourist area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Rancho San Lucas, Diamante, or Four Seasons, are not included in complimentary transportation and will meet at Plaza Gali OXXO in Cabo San Lucas • Cruise guests will also meet at Plaza Gali OXXO, approximately 3–5 minutes walking from the marina exit. Detailed walking directions will be provided with your confirmation message • Cabo San Lucas cruise arrivals operate using tender boats, which may take additional time depending on port operations. We strongly recommend taking the earliest tender available or booking priority tender service whenever possible • Guests who miss transportation or arrive late must arrive directly at Santa Maria Beach before the activity start time at their own expense

- Kayaking requires basic fitness and comfort in the water
- Conditions between Santa Maria and Chileno Bay may vary daily. If crossing conditions are not ideal, the experience may remain within one protected bay while still enjoying kayaking, snorkeling, and beach time. Partial refunds are not provided for ocean-condition route adjustments
- This experience requires favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to unsafe weather, ocean conditions, or operational restrictions, guests will be offered an alternative date or full refund
- No locker facilities are available, but belongings may usually remain inside the transportation vehicle during the activity
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems, pregnancy, or serious heart conditions
- Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed
- Medical refund requests require an official same-day doctor’s certificate and prior notification before activity start time

Wonderful! Luis is friendly, helpful, patient, and kind. And fun!! He picked us up at our resort right on time and took us to Chileno Beach, set us up with beach chairs and an umbrella, gave us all the help we needed in the water. He is an expert and also is qualified as a lifeguard. It was a great experience and we loved it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Luis is a great guide! We had a great trip to the Arch’s then to Lovers beach. Total trip was a couple hours and worth every penny! For the time of day there was just the right amount of people. The weather was perfect, the vibe was perfect. This activity is best for people who have some kayaking or paddle boarding experience.

Marco & Hugo were wonderful. Very helpful, flexible & made me feel safe. The activities were very fun. Good snorkeling. An hour seemed like 10 minutes. I would highly recommend them. Good also for beginners
