Private boat tour in the Tigullio and in the Portofino area
Description
We'll sail along the coast to discover the beauty of a landscape shaped by nature and human labor. We'll sail slowly, and I'll show you the most interesting areas, their curiosities, and the best spots for a refreshing swim. We'll visit the bay of Portofino with its wonderful views, and you'll be able to admire the picturesque village from the sea. Upon request, you can disembark here for a short stroll along the piers or for some shopping. We'll then pass the tip of the promontory on which the lighthouse stands, marking the gulf's boundary, and continue through the marine protected area to the bay of San Fruttuoso. Here, we'll stop to swim and snorkel to see the Christ of the Abyss (a statue placed on the seabed). You'll admire the magical bay and the abbey of San Fruttuoso from the sea.

In the gulf of Santa Margherita to observe the town from the sea with its beautiful colored houses and magnificent hotels with his parks and between green hills
Once in Portofino we will enter the bay to see the village from the sea. Upon request it will be possible to go ashore to take a tour of the village.
The tour plans to circumnavigate the promontory with its characteristic lighthouse, and continue in the protected marine reserve up to the bay of San Fruttuoso
We'll enter San Fruttuoso Bay to see the Abbey from the sea. We'll stop here for 20 minutes to swim above the statue of Christ of the Abyss, which you can try to see with masks and snorkels.
After the classic tour between Santa Margherita and San Fruttuoso and if there is still time available (It depends on the guests' preferences for sightseeing, swimming and relaxation.), we will take a tour along the coast towards the gulf of Rapallo, from where we will admire the palm-lined promenade with the Belle Epoque buildings and the famous Castle

The boat ride was lovely and Emanuele told us a lot of great history on the different spots. He provided us with drinks, towels, snorkeling gear, and amazing focaccia bread fresh from a bakery. We were able to stop and swim as well as walk Portofino. We had a great time!

Our experience with Emanuele and White Boat was absolutely incredible! Communication before our trip was excellent, making everything so easy to book. It was also an easy walk from our hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure. Out of our entire 10-day trip to Italy, these four hours were by far our favorite experience. We visited the Christ of the Abyss underwater statue, swam in the crystal-clear waters of Portofino, and took in some of the most beautiful scenery we've ever seen. Emanuele was incredibly personable, and one of the highlights was learning about the local culture, history, and real estate from someone who truly calls this area home. The fresh focaccia was absolutely amazing (I'm still dreaming about it!), and the wine and beer he provided made the experience even more special. I cannot recommend White Boat enough. It was relaxing, unforgettable, and the perfect way to experience the Italian Riviera from the water. We can't wait to return and do it all over again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had the absolute perfect boat day in Portofino and truly couldn’t recommend it more! Our captain was amazing and gave us so much great information about all the places we were seeing, while also giving us plenty of space to enjoy a romantic day together without ever feeling like we had a third wheel. The entire day was super customizable, and since we told him we wanted to swim a lot, he made sure we had tons of opportunities to jump in at the most beautiful spots. We also had so much delicious wine, and the focaccia was the perfect touch to soak it all up! The boat itself was super modern, beautiful, and comfortable, and the entire experience felt so special and effortless. Truly the PERFECT day and one of the highlights of our trip!!!
We had a lovely afternoon celebrating our wedding anniversary on the boat .Emmanuel was very knowledgeable about the area. Very flexible with what you wanted to do…we did not want to look round Portofino as been before so we did more snorkelling. The food and drink was a nice extra touch. Thank you.

Highly highly recommend this experience!! My husband and I went on the boat with my brother and sister in law and the 4 of us had the absolute best time - we can't recommend this enough! This was one of our favourite parts of our trip in Portofino and Santa Margherita Liguere! The kids loved it. The boat was spacious for our family. There was nice shaded areas also. Emanuele was very kind and informative. He took us to The Christ of the Abyss -a statue under the sea- and provided the snorkeling masks. This was my husband’s and daughter’s favorite part. My younger daughter loved seeing the fish. Emanuele also had a speaker on board to put some music. Overall, I recommend this experience.
