It was as described. Despite a very rainy day we were able to see everything we expected and had an enjoyable time with Dulce. Augusto was a great driver!!
This experience was like no other. From private hotel pick up and Xavier’s knowledge on all of Spains history was beyond my expectations. Xavier’s patience with driving and navigating through the small towns to the major highways was one of the best. This trip is particularly memorable for me because we’re able to actually slowdown and enjoy sites from being in or with any groups of different cultures and personalities. I highly recommend this journey because calling this is trip is far from the experience that you will find ❤️
Xavi was very nice and friendly and explained the background to the architecture and the history of the sites we visited.
Miquel was a great guide with the funniest jokes and a safe driver too. We enjoyed learning about these towns from him. Thank you
My husband and I took a private tour with Xavier, who was both a great driver and a very informative and knowledgeable tour guide. He shared in depth knowledge of the history, the land, the people, the buildings and the languages spoken. He brought us to the old quarters of each town and gave us information about the architecture and history each village. We felt we were transported to centuries past. We highly recommend this tour!
We had an awesome time with our family of 10. Miguel is a terrific guide with an excellent sense of humor. He was extremely knowledgable about the area and was able describe how these towns were populated and its significance to the Catalonia area. In Vic, Miguel took us to a small bakery for some delicious breakfast and stopped by a local restaurant for lunch in Besalu that served some awesome tapas and paella. Miguel was also an very good driver taking use from our Airbnb to all 3 towns. I would like recommend booking Miguel for your guided tour of Barcelona.
We were a large family group of 10 with 2 grandparents in their 80s and 4 teens/young adults. Though Viator allowed up to 8 pax we were able to contact the tour company and add 2 more. Comfortably road in a van and car. Our tour guide Miquel was wonderful, prompt for morning pick up and knowledgeable, fun and easy going through out the drive and tour. He took us to the best churros in Vic before the start of the tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture in Vic, San Pau, and Besalu. We had the best lobster and rice paella at Noz in beautiful picturesque Besalu. Miquel was very accommodating and a wonderful tour guide. Highly recommend the company and Miquel.
Our guide Xavi was very informative and tailored the visits to the three towns to what we were interested in. With the exception of Besalú, which is visited by many tour buses, we spent our day wandering the quiet Medieval streets on our own. Xavi took us to a quaint tapería in Santo Pau where we had an enjoyable local lunch based on his suggestions. This was a wonderful day spent in some charming locations.
BOOK Miquel (“Mike”) for your next tour of Spain thank you for a memorable and thoughtful Medieval touring experience. Your firm grasp of the history of the region, well thought out schedule and carefree lightheartedness made our tour memorable. Your restaurant recommendations were the best two meals of your stay. Thank you !!
Miquel was amazing, he was very informative and made the tour very fun. If I were to come back and do another tour I would ask for him to be my tour guide. I will refer him to our friends when they come to barcelona.
