What surprised us most was how quickly the mood of the trip kept changing. One morning we were surrounded by tea-covered hills in Munnar, and a couple of days later we were sitting beside the backwaters watching tiny boats move past villages. It never felt like we were repeating the same type of sightseeing. Munnar was probably the place where we took the most photos, but the quieter moments were better than the busy viewpoints. Early morning air, mist sitting over the hills, random tea stops and those winding roads made the place feel special. Thekkady was a nice change after that. It felt more earthy and forested, and we enjoyed learning about the spice-growing areas instead of just visiting another viewpoint. It gave the trip a different character. Alleppey was where everything slowed down properly. Once we were on the backwaters, nobody really cared about checking the time anymore. We ate, talked, watched the scenery move past and enjoyed having absolutely nothing urgent to do. Kovalam was a good choice for the final part of the trip. After several days of travelling, being near the coast gave us the chance to relax before leaving. The private vehicle made the whole route much easier too. We never had to worry about arranging another taxi, moving luggage around or rushing because someone else was waiting. Our driver was friendly and patient, especially when we suddenly wanted to stop for a photo or something to eat. Troper Tours kept everything organised in the background, but the holiday never felt over-planned. That was probably the best part for us. Six days went by very quickly, but it still felt like we had seen several completely different sides of Kerala. We came home with a lot more memories than we expected from such a short trip.

I usually remember trips by one or two big attractions, but Kerala was different. What stayed with me was how the whole journey changed gradually from one place to the next. The drive into the hills was probably when the holiday properly started for me. The air became cooler, the roads narrower and suddenly there were tea plantations appearing everywhere. Munnar had plenty of beautiful viewpoints, but I actually enjoyed the quieter moments more — early mornings, little roadside stops and watching the mist move across the hills. Thekkady had a completely different personality. It felt greener, denser and more earthy. The spice-growing areas were especially interesting because it gave us something beyond just taking photographs. There was more of a sense of learning about the region and how people actually live there. Then Alleppey changed the pace completely. After a few days of roads and sightseeing, being on the backwaters felt almost like someone had pressed pause. We could sit outside, eat, watch small boats passing and see houses along the canals. Nothing dramatic needed to happen. That calmness was probably why it became one of my favourite parts. By the time we reached the coast, we were happy not to have another long list of attractions waiting for us. Having time around Kovalam before finishing towards Trivandrum gave the trip a much softer ending. Another thing I appreciated was the private nature of the tour. We weren't tied to a large group or waiting for dozens of people at every stop. If we wanted tea, a photograph or simply ten extra minutes somewhere, it wasn't a problem. The driver also deserves a mention because he made the road sections comfortable and never made our little detours feel inconvenient. Troper Tours handled the organising without making the holiday feel organised to death. Hotels, transport and the main route were sorted, while we still had enough freedom to enjoy things naturally. For me, that was the strongest part of this private Kerala tour. We saw the famous scenery and cultural attractions, but the trip still had room for ordinary moments. Six days isn't enough to understand all of Kerala, but it was enough to make us want to return and see much more of it.
Thank you so much for sharing this in such a thoughtful way. Reading your review, what stands out most is that you didn’t just visit Kerala — you noticed it. We loved hearing about the quiet mornings in Munnar, the changing landscape in Thekkady, and the way Alleppey gave you space to slow down completely. Those are the moments we hope travellers remember: not only the big viewpoints and famous stops, but also the mist, the roadside tea, the small boats, the houses along the canals, and the feeling of having nowhere to rush to. We’re especially happy that the private tour format gave you room to travel in your own way. Being able to stop for a photograph, stay a little longer somewhere, or simply take a few extra minutes without worrying about a group schedule can make a huge difference to how a trip feels. Thank you as well for mentioning our driver. We’ll make sure your kind words reach him. A good journey depends so much on the person behind the wheel, especially on Kerala’s hill roads and longer stretches between destinations. What means the most to us is that the arrangements stayed in the background while the actual experience stayed in the foreground. That is exactly what we want for our guests — enough organisation to make everything easy, but enough freedom for the holiday to still feel personal. Thank you for choosing Troper Tours and for trusting us with these six days. Knowing that Kerala left you wanting to return is probably the best compliment we could receive. We’d genuinely love to welcome you back and help you explore the parts of Kerala you didn’t get to see this time.

Somewhere along the way, we needed to get in touch with Troper Tours as we had Threading a Kerala vacation without putting together jam-packed itinerary. What amazed us was their focus on the finer details before we even started travelling. They heard what we were interested in, they helped in working out a logical route for us and rather than just sending random standard package. Once the trip was underway, it was much easier because all the transport and arrangements had been sorted. However, the driver was very friendly, arrived on time and was happy to answer questions as we went along. We like that we could make mini pit stops for food or photos or local places without every change being a crisis. The team was always on hand throughout the journey. That gave us an awful lot of confidence, particularly when going to somewhere no one else had been. What stuck most in our minds was the sense that there were skin-and-bones human beings behind the arrangements and that they actually cared whether we had a good trip. We never felt like just another booking number. We really had a good time with Troper Tours and we would definitely use them when we return to Kerala.

It’s great to know that our driver helped make the journey more enjoyable through local knowledge, flexibility and those small unexpected stops for food, photographs and exploring places along the way. Thank you for trusting Troper Tours for your Kerala experience. We’ll be happy to welcome you again and help you discover more hidden gems, local experiences and memorable journeys across Kerala in the future.
We had been looking at different options for our Kerala holiday and finally decided to go with Troper Tours. From the first discussion, the team was easy to communicate with and actually listened to what we wanted rather than giving us a fixed plan. The whole trip was comfortable and well coordinated. We enjoyed the different sides of Kerala, from the hills and tea plantations around Munnar to the backwaters and coastal areas. The driver was also very helpful and knew the routes well, which made travelling between places much easier. What we appreciated most was the flexibility. We could ask questions, make small changes and stop when we found something interesting. It made the holiday feel more personal. I would definitely recommend Troper Tours to anyone searching for a reliable Kerala travel agency. We were also impressed with the way they handled the planning, and I can easily see why their Kerala honeymoon packages would be a good option for couples who want a private and comfortable trip. Overall, a very good experience and a company we would happily use again for our next Kerala holiday.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re delighted to know that you felt heard from the very beginning and that we could build the trip around what you actually wanted rather than simply offering a standard itinerary. It’s lovely to hear that you enjoyed the different sides of Kerala, from the tea-covered hills of Munnar to the peaceful backwaters and coastal areas. We’re also glad that the flexibility during the journey allowed you to make those little stops and changes along the way. We’ll definitely pass your kind words on to our driver and team. Making the journey comfortable while giving our guests the freedom to enjoy Kerala at their own pace is something we value greatly. Thank you for recommending Troper Tours and for mentioning our Kerala honeymoon packages. We’d be very happy to help you plan your next Kerala holiday whenever you’re ready to return!
The trip started in Munnar, and I think that was the right introduction to Keral. The tea hills were beautiful, but I actually remember the early morning drive more than the sightseeing. Everything was misty and quiet. Thekkady felt completely different, and Alleppey gave us the slow part of the holiday. Kovalam was a nice final stop before leaving. Having the transport arranged made the whole route much easier.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re happy to hear that Munnar made such a good first impression and that the peaceful early morning drive became one of your favourite memories. It’s lovely to know that you enjoyed the changing atmosphere from the misty tea hills of Munnar to the greenery of Thekkady, the slower pace of Alleppey and finally the relaxed surroundings of Kovalam. We’re also glad that having the transport arranged made the journey easier and allowed you to simply enjoy the scenery without worrying about the logistics. Thank you for choosing Troper Tours, and we hope to welcome you back to Kerala again in the future!
We were a little unsure about booking a multi-stop trip because we didn't want to spend our holiday constantly packing, unpacking and checking the clock. Thankfully, this itinerary had a much more relaxed feel than we expected. Our first few days around Munnar were a highlight. The weather was cooler, the scenery was incredible, and we enjoyed taking our time at the viewpoints instead of trying to see absolutely everything. Thekkady was another favourite, particularly the spice plantations. It was interesting to see how different the countryside looked compared with Munnar. We learned a lot simply by talking with the people we met along the way. Then came the backwaters in Alleppey. That was the point when the whole holiday seemed to slow down. We spent a lot of time just sitting outside, watching boats and village life go past. No sightseeing checklist, no rushing—just enjoying the surroundings. Kovalam gave us a completely different ending with its coastal atmosphere and relaxed evenings. We also have to mention the driver. He was calm, respectful and genuinely helpful throughout the journey. Even on the longer drives, everything felt easy. Troper Tours handled the planning behind the scenes while leaving us free to enjoy the actual holiday. For us, that balance made the biggest difference. We returned home feeling rested rather than exhausted, which is exactly what we wanted from our Kerala trip.
Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful review! We’re really happy to know that your Kerala trip felt relaxed rather than like a constant race between destinations. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed taking your time around Munnar, discovering the spice plantations in Thekkady, and then slowing everything down in Alleppey. Those quieter moments on the backwaters, watching the boats and village life, are exactly the kind of experiences that can make a Kerala holiday special. We’re also glad Kovalam gave you the relaxed finish you were looking for. A special thank you for mentioning our driver. We’re pleased that his calm and helpful nature made the longer journeys comfortable for you. At Troper Tours, we try to design our Kerala tour packages around a good balance of sightseeing, comfort and free time. As a Kerala travel agency, our aim is to take care of the planning while still giving our guests the freedom to enjoy the journey in their own way. Thank you for choosing Troper Tours. We’re delighted that you returned home feeling refreshed, and we hope to welcome you back to Kerala again!
Another aspect I appreciated from this trip was that Kerala never looked quite the same. As soon as I thought I knew what the lay of the land was, we would show up in some new place. That was a big surprise on the first morning in Munnar. I woke up to foggy hills and tea plantations, not a bad start to the holiday. Thekkady had a very different vibe – lush greens, spice gardens and plenty of wildlife-related sights and sounds. Then there was Alleppey, where life slowed to a crawl at last. Eating meals while slowly moving through the backwaters is a simple activity I found to be quite an incredible memory to have during the entire trip — sitting on that houseboat just watching people along the canals. If we were being faced with yet another day of heavy sightseeing, Kovalam offered residents the opportunity to call a halt. After such a long drive, we needed 3 days of beach. The practical side was also a cinch. The vehicle was comfortable, the driver had done this route so many times that even a rock concert would not have distracted him, and whenever we had a question or needed to clarify something Troper Tours were right there. What I enjoyed most was the balance. Certainly, there was enough sightseeing to justify our six days being away, but also enough down time that we actually had the chance to enjoy where we are! Kerala offered me more memories than I anticipated for a 6-day trip. This is the second time I have travelled with Troper Tours and would easily recommend them to anyone wanting to see this part of India without it being a race.
Thank you for coming back to Troper Tours for your second trip and for sharing such a personal account of your Kerala journey! It means a lot to know that the experience felt different and memorable once again. We loved hearing about that first morning in Munnar, waking up to the foggy hills and tea plantations. From there, Thekkady brought a completely different atmosphere, and then Alleppey gave you the chance to properly slow down and enjoy the backwaters from the houseboat. We’re glad you also had time in Kovalam to relax after the travelling and sightseeing. Your words about the balance really mean a lot to us. We don’t want our guests to feel like they are simply moving from one attraction to another. Having time to sit, enjoy a meal, watch local life or simply take in the scenery is an important part of the journey. And thank you for mentioning our driver and team. We’re happy that the transport was comfortable and that you always had someone to turn to when you needed help or clarification. Most importantly, thank you for choosing Troper Tours for a second time. Your continued trust means more to us than any review, and we’d be very happy to plan your next Indian adventure whenever you’re ready!
We had a really good experience with Troper Tours. From the first conversation itself, the team was friendly and easy to deal with. They understood what we wanted and helped us choose the right places instead of simply pushing a fixed itinerary. The arrangements were handled properly, the communication was clear, and whenever we had a question, we got a quick response. Our driver was also very helpful and made the travelling between places comfortable. What we liked most was that the trip never felt too complicated. Hotels, transport, sightseeing and the small details were taken care of, so we could just enjoy our holiday. Troper Tours is definitely a good Kerala travel agency if you want someone who knows the destination and actually listens to what the traveller wants. We would also recommend them as a Trivandrum travel agency for anyone planning a Kerala holiday from the capital. Overall, very happy with the service and would gladly travel with Troper Tours again.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Troper Tours! We’re really pleased to know that our team was able to understand what you were looking for and help shape the trip around your preferences rather than simply offering a fixed itinerary. It’s great to hear that the communication, transport, hotels and sightseeing arrangements all worked smoothly. Our goal is to take care of the practical details so our guests can focus on enjoying their time in Kerala. We truly appreciate your kind words about us as a Kerala travel agency and Trivandrum travel agency. We’re also happy to know that you would consider us again for a future holiday, including one of our Kerala luxury packages. Thank you for choosing Troper Tours, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable Kerala journey!
Although we had previously traveled to Tamil Nadu, our experience in Chettinad was entirely different. There were no popular tourist streets or large crowds. Rather, we spent our days exploring historic homes, serene villages, temples, and locations we most likely would not have discovered on our own. The biggest surprise was the mansions in Kanadukathan. Some were nearly forgotten from the outside, but once we inside, we were astounded by the enormous rooms, ancient woodwork, courtyards, and tiles. How families actually lived in homes that size was difficult to comprehend. good tour operator they are We had a great time at the Athangudi tile workshop as well. It was far more fascinating to watch the tiles being manufactured by hand than we had anticipated, and we could understand why they differed so greatly from typical factory-made tiles.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful experience! We’re delighted that your time in Chettinad gave you a different perspective on Tamil Nadu and that you enjoyed discovering places beyond the usual tourist routes. The heritage mansions in Kanadukathan and the traditional Athangudi tile-making process are truly special, and we’re glad those experiences stood out during your journey. It’s always rewarding to hear that travellers enjoyed the history, craftsmanship and quieter side of the region. Thank you as well for appreciating our team and recommending Troper Tours. We’re happy to have been part of your journey and hope to help you discover more of South India and Kerala on your next trip.
