Our trip started well before we stepped foot into Egypt. We worked with Egypt Cruise Era to get the exact boat and itinerary for us. They were extremely helpful right from the beginning. Then when our intended ship had mechanical difficulties before we arrived, they quickly worked on getting us a replacement, upgrade with a balcony, which I loved for cruising and would highly recommend. Our tour guide, Mahmoud Farah picked us up and we were off to our first tour. I cannot say enough about how great Mahmoud was. He was the BEST! If you can request him, I would. He was all the things. He would go above and beyond to get us what we wanted and needed. His tours were captivating and so informative and balanced with the perfect amount of time to tour and explore on our own. He had a lovely demeanor and everyone knew him at the sites and he was able to zip us around with ease. I learned so much and laughed a lot too. Ps. His English is better than mine. The tours were great. Pleasantly not too crowded. We did the Add-on’s of King Tut’s tomb, where we saw his mummy, Philae Light Show, which was magical to see the temple at night, Nubian Village, which Egypt Cruise Era recommended and I almost didn’t do but so glad I did because I swam in the Nile and floated through beautiful scenery and got a glimpse of Nubian life, and Abu Simbel, which is worth the drive. I would recommend them all. I enjoyed our itinerary of 5 days, 4 nights. Not sure how you could do it shorter. It would have been really rushed. The best part for me was that all the tours were private… just the two of us with our guide, Mahmoud. Looking at all the other tours with large groups solidified that we made a great decision. I could ask as many questions as I wanted and we were on our schedule. Mahmoud truly made the trip special for us.

Egypt Cruise Era is a fantastic Operator. Very genuine in their dealings. Mahmoud Farah was incredible. He was funny, informative, PATIENT, humble and caring. The right amount of mix. Had 5 days of private tours with my girlfriend and I. I am not one to usually want to hang out with a stranger for 5 days; Mahmoud became like family and I would be glad for him to visit us in the USA if he ever goes. I cannot say enough to do justice for this man. Great job my friend!
