This was such a fun experience and Miki was a great host/teacher! He was very supportive and the group of people we were with were also great to talk to. The certificates and polaroid at the end were also very cute and were something permanent to remember to experience by, as well as the chimney cakes themselves which were great. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and quick activity whilst visiting the city.
Fun and was very careful with a nut allergy. Highly recommend Lucy!
It was a fun experience! Lucy was knowledgable and led us step by step at a nice pace to creating our chimney cakes. Sweet gal!
We had an amazing, fun and delicious workshop for making traditional chimney cake (Trdelnik). Miki taught in a wonderful way and has an amazing approach to children, highly recommend!!
Great workshop. We had a fun time making our own chimney cake and eating it afterward. Thank you, Kensia!
Lucy made the class easy to follow and was great at checking on everyone's cakes throughout the decorating process to make sure we were all on track. She also shared the history behind the cake, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to offer a gluten-free option. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fully participate because of my dietary restriction. That said, I didn't expect them to have a gluten-free alternative, so it wasn't a disappointment—just something that would make an already great experience even better. The class lasts about an hour, making it a fun way to fill some time during your visit. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a unique, hands-on activity.
The experience was fun! Xeni was fun and made the experience nice. It did have a bit of a factory vibe and less of a personal baking class.
The class is ~1 hour. Xani told us about the history of the chimney cake and talked us through the making of one while showing the different steps. If something goes wrong you can try again, and there are 4 different toppings to choose from. At the end you get a printed recipe. Fun and tasty little workshop if you're looking for something to do.
A really nice workshop where my son and I made our own cakes. Miki was an excellent teacher who knew how to welcome us and make us feel confident. We are leaving with the recipe and tips to make it at home. We recommend it!
The instructor Reed was very energetic and made the workshop super fun. I only have one hand but he made sure I was okay and didn’t hesitate to help without making me feel uncomfortable or like I was annoying him. Highly recommend plus there delicious
