Our guide was knowledgable and engaging. The food was wonderful and included many different dishes. Our guide explained each dish, how it was prepared, and how it should be served. Highly recommend.

We traveled with our tween sons and enjoyed the food tour with Sonar (Sonny). We ate a lot, drank a lot, and learned more about Prague food culture and history as well. We started with either beef broth soup (lighter) or goulash (beef/pork stew). Then we had a kolosche (like a Danish pastry) snack. Then, we walked about 8 minutes to stop at a deli to try prague ham on rye with mustard and pickle. Then we stopped at a tavern a few minutes away to try marinated camembert cheese and pickled sausage with a Moravian wine (or Czech cola for the kids which taste a bit like light, less sweet birch beer), we walked a few more minutes to get to our "dinner" where 4 of us shared 3 preselected main entrees: fried edam with potatoes, roast pork with spinach and potato dumplings, and goulash meal (chunks of meat but still stew-like) with bread dumplings. We had a choice of beer or seasonal raspberry soda or radler (half beer, half raspberry soda). Finally, we walked about 5 more minutes closer to the river bank to enjoy a gingerbread cookie. It took exactly 3 hours and didn't feel rushed. The company and tour guide was fabulous. Would recommend to others to understand the food culture and sample different foods. We even learned what was not local cuisines even though we thought it was! Almost wished it was longer to dive more into Prague history and culture and the background of all the different foods but that would end up being much much longer!
It was a pleasure to spend the day with you. We hope the experience reflected the care our team puts into creating a thoughtful and well-paced Secret Food Tours outing. Thank you for joining us!
Viktoria was a wonderful guide. In addition to sharing local food knowledge she provided background and history of the local area. Additionally, the tour accommodated my request for vegetarian dishes which was greatly appreciated. Recommend to those wanting to know more about local cuisine and the surrounding area.
We’re so glad you joined us! Sharing a few of our favorite local spots with guests is one of the best parts of Secret Food Tours. We hope we get to do it with you again.
Had such a nice time on the tour. Really enjoyed all of the different dishes we tried and I was definitely very full by the end of the tour. Our guide Soner was great. While walking to the different locations he made sure to take us to some of the iconic spots and give us a bit of history as well. Also really appreciated the recommendations and recipes he shared with us.
We loved having you with us for the day. We hope the tour left you with a few favorite flavors and places to think about after you left. We’d be happy to welcome you again!
Czech food in general is nothing to write home about but Sayeh our tour guide was super nice and it’s a great way to see the area across the Charles Bridge in “lesser town” and try some hidden eateries.
There’s always something satisfying about hearing what guests remember after the day is over. We’re glad your time with Secret Food Tours left a positive impression. Thank you for taking the time to share it!
We have taken 18-19 food tours all over and this one was top tier. Sonny, our guide, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable of the food and area. He was very helpful in giving the group recommendations in the area. I highly recommend taking this tour.
We’re pleased the day gave you something worth remembering. Every Secret Food Tours stop has a reason for being there, and we hope those choices came through during your visit. Thanks for being our guest!

We’re glad you found some new places to enjoy. Introducing guests to spots we would recommend to our own friends is a big part of what makes Secret Food Tours enjoyable for us. Thank you for coming along!
There were 7 in our food tour, which made it intimate and fun. Sone was not only great at talking about food, but also informative on culture, history, landmarks, etc. We had soup, cheese, smoked sausage, pastry, goulash, dumplings, and fried cheese. We all enjoyed the tour and the taste of Prague

We had an a wonderful tour with Viktoria. She was so welcoming, warm and kind and told us interesting history about each location and food. We really felt she took us to great spots and she paced the eating well and we had several sit down tastings and a couple standing up. We were happy the tour took place in Mala Strana so we could get to know a new neighborhood. Highly recommend this tour!
