Our journey begins at the famous St. Wenceslas horse statue on Wenceslas Square. A short walk takes us to a chilling site that hidden in plain sight—the most feared secret police headquarters of the Nazi occupation.

Next, we head into the historic station. I will share a deeply moving, personal story of a true hero who pulled off a miraculous rescue mission right here on the eve of WWII.

We’ll hop on the quick local metro like true Prague insiders. Then, we will step inside the sacred underground crypt where a handful of heroic paratroopers made their legendary final stand.

Enjoy a scenic walk along the Vltava riverbank with stunning views of Prague Castle toward the National Theatre. We will stop at the exact site on Národní třída where a brutal police crackdown on students sparked the 1989 Velvet Revolution.

Time for a delicious local break! I’ll take you to taste our most iconic national specialty—the traditional Czech open-faced sandwich, from a legendary spot that amazingly survived the dark communist era. Afterward, we will encounter a bizarre, mind-bending piece of modern kinetic art nearby.

We return to the main square to talk about the dramatic mass demonstrations of 1989 and pay tribute to a student who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

The grand finale! We go deep underground beneath a luxury hotel into an authentic, hidden Cold War fallout shelter. You’ll see where the Communist Secret Police conducted their wiretapping operations.
