best tour of Porto

This experience was by far our favorite on our trip to Portugal. The scenery, especially at sunset, is beautiful but it was our guide Paulo who made it magical. While Francisco steered the boat, Paulo shared interesting facts (of both the past and present) about what we were seeing. As a Porto native, he is incredibly knowledgable and a great storyteller. He even took photos for us the whole time so we could just relax and enjoy the ride! I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Romantic and informative tour at the same time. Watching the sunset and drinking port wine

It was a really nice experience. The crew greeted us wholesomely. The tour was informative. The end was the best part, calmly watching the sun set.

A perfect way to leave Porto

We chose the Naugit cruise for our last evening in Porto and we completely recommend it. It was a special moment in a small group accompanied by Allan and Francisco, who took excellent care of us. We particularly enjoyed their anecdotes about the bridges and buildings along the coast, all accompanied by a glass of port, of course! Thanks to them

An Incredible Experience – Even the Second Time

This was the second time I chose this shared tour, and it was incredible once again. Visiting Porto with this experience made the city feel even more special. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, and the group atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Even though it wasn’t my first time, I still learned new things and discovered details I had missed before. Everything was well organized, engaging, and authentic. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto for the first time—or the second!

Operator response

One of the highlights of our Porto trip

This boat tour was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. Even though it’s a shared tour, the group was small, which made the experience feel relaxed, personal, and very enjoyable. Seeing Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia from the Douro River at sunset is truly something special. The views of the bridges, the Ribeira, and the city lights reflecting on the water were simply breathtaking. The boat was very comfortable and well maintained, and the pace of the tour was perfect — never rushed, allowing us to really take everything in. The crew were extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. They shared interesting information along the way and made sure everyone felt comfortable at all times. The welcome drink was a lovely touch and added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or family, this is a memorable experience and well worth it.

sunset cruise

My husband and I had a great time on the sunset cruise. Philip and Alan were entertaining and informative. Blankets were offered as it can get a bit chilly in April.

Lovely, lovely bridge sunset cruise

This was a lovely private cruise with our guide Alan giving us some history along the way - never intrusive. Paolo was our captain and did a fantastic job navigating the waters and keeping the boat pretty steady.

A trip to remember!

We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip with Philip and Paolo. Philip was very knowledgeable in both current and historical Porto and Gaia facts. Paolo and Philip were truly masters of their boat. They made us feel comfortable throughout the trip, including a nice glass of port and warm blankets. Thank you for a wonderful boat ride on the Douro!
