I really enjoyed the visit. The guide was nice and well prepared. It is a must tasting Porto while visiting Gaia.
We had a wonderful time on the Port Tour. Alex was a great guide who was very informative and funny. I learned so much about Port Wine and Porto. He also gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants.
Alex was an exceptional guide! He clearly communicated what was to happen at each step, so we knew exactly what to expect. He also has a great sense of humor.
Honestly one of the best tours of our trip to Portugal. Alex was so knowledgeable but also so much fun . Would highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about Port Wine & its history. Great tour guide & met lovely people on the tour
Alex was a fantastic guide. Since we were all going to be sampling many glasses of Port, he gave us most of the information about Gaia and the production of Port wine before we started. Everyone had a great time, and we all learned a lot.
Tour guide was wonderful- some how he remembered every one’s name. Ports we tried were very good. Pace was easy enough - did not feel rushed
Francisco was deeply knowledgeable, and I had no idea going into it how much I would learn about grape cultivation and port wine production.
I really liked the Port Wine Tour! We visited three locations, each very unique in its own way! The guide taught us a lot in a very fun and relaxed way and, of course, the wines we tasted were delicious! It was a wonderful sunny day, so we were able to fully take advantage of the last point of the tour: a rooftop to chat with the other participants. It is very interesting to learn about the history, process and different notes of Porto wines. I highly recommend, because it is delicious, we learned a lot and we always know someone!
Great knowledge and a very enjoyable time. I even had to indulge and bring back a bottle of vintage port
What a fun trip! We went through 3 different wineries, tasted a total of 7 glasses of port and received interesting explanations from our guide Alex. Really a top guy, he told enthusiastically, broke the ice right at the beginning by giving everyone a boxing and learning all the names, made jokes and gave many recommendations for activities and dinners in the city.
