Port Rock Tour at Gibraltar

Horrible experience and tour got cancelled after bus break down. Gave them feedback while on side of road (live). Not helpful and declined any refund or resolution. Stating tour competed by provider. Another bus did pick us up and get us back to terminal however no time for tour. Meeting point: Gibraltar Cruise Terminal, Gibraltar, however they did not show up. After waiting for 30 minutes pre tour and 15 min post meeting time, found a representative at the terminal who contacted the provider. They did not have us, however provider found our reservation and tried to put us on another of their buses. The bus driver slammed door and said no. Then they argued in street. Opened door one of our four got on and then refused again to let other 3 board. After an amount of time they finally let us all on and had to sit in fold down jump seats as bus was already filled. Disgruntled folks on bus already as they were late. I will add I have booked through viator other places without this experience. More than disappointed that viator would not honor their tour not being completed we did not get to see monkeys or go to top. Taxis are at the port just take them.

I can't give it a 5 * review only because the meeting instructions were not accurate. There was no sign that said "BG Port". Thankfully, I happened to ask the correct tour operator who were all identified with "Blands Travel". Other than that, the tour was well worth it with all the stops made and taking a tour to the top of the rock by auto beat all the brave souls who walked up those narrow, cliff side roads. The monkeys were cute and behaved and posed for many photos willingly. St Michael's caves were awesome and I wasn't prepared for how stunning the light show inside is. Our tour guide/driver (didn't get his name!) was very knowledgeable and flexible with time. Fully enjoyed today's experience even though we started from port in FOG so thick you literally couldn't see your hand in front of you. Very typical for July/August morning weather. It does clear up though!

A really great trip! We booked for 6 adults and 2 kids. The pick up from our cruise ship was really convenient. Angel was a perfect guide - knowledgeable and a great personality combined. The stops provided wonderful views and a flavour of everything the Rock had to offer. We even met a few monkeys! We got dropped off in the city centre with easy instructions on how to return to the ship - I highly recommend everyone does this. Overall, if your cruise is stopping in Gibraltar, I would definitely recommend pre-booking a tour like this! It takes all the stress out of trying to find something when you arrive and will guarantee you see the Rock - the main attraction!

Vendor agent DID NOT meet at ship terminal as stated with "BG Port" sign. We were 30 minutes early for a show time at 0830. Texted multiple times on WhatsApp with no response during our wait. Finally called Viator help line for assistance costing me over $60 in phone charges. Viator USA then made contact with vendor and directed us to a bus one block away from terminal pick-up area. Agent at bus was very rude and indignant that we were late...BS! Our driver, Kaylam , saved the tour with his excellent interpretation of "The Rock" once aboard his bus. Would have given tour a 5 were it not for the very poor communication and rudeness of the vendor agent.

The tour guide Peter was very informative and an excellent driver!! The tour was great, although we wish to have seen apes in the den. The guide informed us that because of the flying eagles the apes were taking cover to protect their babies. We did get to see one take a banana from the store and that fun!

Our tour guide(Angel-Blands Travel) was brilliant informative and funny keeping everyone entertained during our trip.

This was a wonderful experience. The cave was amazing! We lucked out and seen so many monkeys. Leone, our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and made the trip a fun excursion.

I loved the experience, but there is very little time in the caves and at some stops to be able to better appreciate how beautiful everything is.

This was a really good tour. After you leave the ship, you have to walk to just outside the terminal and you will see the bus in the operator wearing a BLANDS shirt. It wasn’t too far. He was on the left. We were with a group, but it wasn’t overly large. Our guide, Clive was funny and professional, and kept things moving along. I felt the amount of time he spent at each area was perfect. Others have said they felt rushed, but we did not feel that way. Enjoyed the tunnels and caves and got to see the monkeys yay!
