I’m Neapolitan but I had never been to the excavations of Pompeii, or maybe I had been there as a child and I don’t remember it, I love to travel and I put culture first in every trip, I always look for destinations that have a lot to tell but what I saw on Sunday at the excavations was something that I can’t describe, a magical place where you see yourself catapulted into another era where you can see and touch the real story that you can’t perceive in the history books .. 10 stars would deserve

we can and must organize better. we could have seen and admired much more but the disorganization left us little time, what a shame
What an emotion to visit and if you revisit it for the second time it is always a pleasure. Very beautiful and culturally valid
What a thrill to be in the most famous place in the world where that volcano killed all those innocent people. beautiful
Walking through the ruins of Pompeii is like time travel. Every corner tells a story. Comfortable shoes and driving recommended! 👟
I did a private tour with my husband of the city of Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum. Gennaro was our guide and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Giovanni was our driver and did a great job. They even helped us find a moka pot as a souvenir (something my husband really wanted) even though we had to try 3 stores to find it. Cannot say enough good things and I would use them again!
Our tour guide, Julia, was amazing! She is an archeologist who has worked at the Pompeii archeological site and led tours for the past decade. She personalized the lives of the residents on that fateful day 79 AD and explained the societal norms and culture of Pompeii. Having Julia as our personal guide greatly enriched our experience at the archeological site.
Thanks for your nice words
We highly recommend booking a private tour of Pompeii and Naples with Askos Tours. We had an amazing day learning about the history of Pompeii. Our tour guide Anna, was an excellent tour guide of the Pompeii ruins. Our teenagers have dreamed of visiting Pompeii. Anna was very knowledgeable about the ruins and Roman history. Thank you Anna for being the best guide on our trip and for helping to make our holiday so memorable.
Thank you so much! We are always here for any other tour you want to do here in Naples and not only! Good luck from Naples!
