In the morning depart with your driver to reach Pompeii, a UNESCO heritage site, the most visited roman site after the Colosseum in Rome. Meet your tour guide and learn that here everything is intact, brought back to life after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius of 79 A. C. for centuries and centuries of archaeological excavations: houses, shops, squares, brothels and even entire human figures preserved over time thanks to the lava of Vesuvius’ eruption. Roman architecture is shown to you in the marvelous villas (the most famous is Villa dei Misteri) and in public buildings such as the Forum, the Macellum (Market) and the amphitheater.
Then visit Herculaneum, the city that according to legend was founded by Hercules. Here the houses are smaller than Pompeii but not less interesting, Herculaneum is UNESCO heritage site too. Also, you can asto to the driver to make a stop in a local factory to look at the productive process of Cameos and Corals, the ancient roman art.

- Pompeii tickets – ID requirement: It is mandatory for all participants to carry a valid photo ID on the day of the tour. Local staff at the archaeological site are entitled to check IDs at the entrance. - Weather, clothing and itinerary: The tour takes place in all weather conditions. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing an umbrella in case of rain. Any waiting times are expected and are not dependent on the organization. The guide reserves the right to modify the itinerary if necessary.

- Timing and punctuality: Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled tour departure time. Tours and transportation services must leave on schedule to guarantee the full experience and on-time return to the ship. A maximum waiting time of 15 minutes is allowed in case of participant delays. After this time, staff may leave the meeting point and begin the tour. Participants not present will be considered NO SHOW and no refund will be due.
