Plovdiv is a beautiful, ancient city. Anyone interested in local history or history in general will have a great time there. Overall, the tour was well organised and the tour guide was friendly and helpful. However, it would have been helpful if the description had mentioned that people with mobility difficulties would find it challenging to complete the tour on foot. Although the tour guide went to great lengths to organise alternatives, the walk was still quite strenuous even for able-bodied people. This refers in particular to the journey to the old town and the ancient theatre. We also had very little time to explore the city on our own, as we spent three-quarters of the time with the guide.
Was a smart private drive and a well organized. All people are very friendly 😃 And the location is definitely a great place to be. You also can spend easily days, but the trip gives a good overview.
We were a family of 5 including a small child and took a private car & guide to Plovdiv (from Sofia). Everything was very smooth and we really enjoyed our trip. Plovdiv is lovely and is a must visit! The guide (driver) was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Fully recommended.
I took a half day tour with transportation to Plovdiv. It was very well organized with good communication from Slavyan and my driver Anton was very good. I thought it was very good value for money and everything ran smoothly.
