Entrance to the Leaning Tower takes place at the end of the tour. Please allow 10 to 15 minutes to leave your bags at the cloakroom, and an additional 10 minutes to collect them afterwards. The climb up and down the tower takes approximately 30 minutes.

- When the visit of the Baptistery won't be possible due to some baptism, we will visit the cemetery instead. Cathedral could be closed due to religiuous reasons and not visitable during the tour.
- Dress code: to go inside the cathedral, back, shoulders and at least half thighs must be covered or entrance to the monumento won’t be possible
- DiscoveryPisa offers a refund on cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to your tour. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your tour will not be refunded .As stated above, we do not refund clients within 24 hours of a tour, and this includes customers who are late due to flight or train cancellations, delays, strikes or issues caused by traffic or congestion, etc. We do not refund either if these problems are caused by the rain. For the customers arriving by cruise ship, pay attention to how far the harbour is from the meeting point.
- Tower tickets timing: English and Spanish at 12.00 or 12.15, German at 14.30.
- Due to its Ceremonies, the Cathedral may not be open to visitors or could be visited only partially, and the guide will have to do his explanation from the outside, for example on Sunday mornings.

There are a LOT of stairs so be careful to wear non slippery shoes! Having a tour guide makes a big difference. They answer questions you didn't know you had! It's wonderful!

Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about the history, architecture, and significance of each site we visited. We especially enjoyed visiting the Baptistery, where we were able to experience the breathtaking echo demonstration—an unforgettable moment. The Duomo was absolutely stunning, and the entire tour provided wonderful historical context that helped us appreciate these incredible landmarks even more. Our stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa was limited, and it was also where we felt the tour could be improved. While we had time to see the tower, it would have been greatly appreciated if the guide had organized a few minutes for the classic perspective photos of “holding up” or “pushing over” the tower. Better yet, it would have been wonderful if the guide had offered to take photos for couples or families. Instead, everyone was left to figure it out on their own time after the tour had ended, which meant we had to ask strangers to use our phone. As a couple, we missed the opportunity to have a memorable photo together at one of Italy’s most iconic landmarks. Overall, the tour was informative and enjoyable, and we learned a tremendous amount. With just a little more attention to helping guests capture those special memories at Pisa, this experience would have been even better.

Too expensive for what it is. Just get tickets directly for the attractions you want - and you can pay 2€ for outstanding audio guides in any language on site.

Anastasia welcomed us wonderfully and even waited for us because we were initially at the wrong meeting point. She spoke perfect German with a lovely Italian melody, which was amusing... told many interesting stories and had a very extensive knowledge of history. Hot day in Pisa! Dennis, our knowledge guide glided his way through the crowds and gave us excellent information on the baptistery, cathedral & the Leaning Tower! It was a very informative tour and we enjoyed ourselves. If you’re taking the train in for the tour, it’s about a 20 -25 minute walk to the meeting place. The stroll thru the centro is lovely. If it’s hot outside, bring a hat, or umbrella & a water bottle.
Crowds, heat, and a full piazza and you still had a great time. That's exactly what a good guide makes possible.
