Phuket Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour & Pickup

Because I was staying at a hotel out of the area I was charged a fee to be picked up and brought back to my hotel. I provided them with the name and address of the hotel. However, the driver went to the wrong hotel. So when we arrived at the market, we were at least 15 minutes later than everybody else. The cooking was fine, but I have been to other experiences where the providers made sure to make it really fun. This was hurry up and let’s get this done. When we were being taken back to the hotel by the driver who is part of the cooking school, he asked us if we would do him a favor. He said that if he stopped at a particular “souvenir shop “and we just went in and looked around that he would get a stamp that would help pay for gasoline. So we said OK. But we were not taken to a souvenir shop. We were taken to a very, very expensive high-end jewelry store. Not sure what this was all about, but it was weird and I would not recommend this class since there are so many others around.

We went as a group of 4, the team were awesome and kind! Met some fun people in the course and cooked a great variety of authentic Thai cuisine! Great value for money and a cool insight to the local area, people and food! Highly recommend

It was great! I really liked being able to make the dishes I wanted to, so many other companies had a set menu and sorry but I don’t like pad Thai! The market tour was very interesting and the chefs at the class were helpful and informative. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic cooking class highly recommended, Ploy our teacher was so nice and very knowledgeable. The food we cooked turned out amazing plenty to share for everyone.

Had an awesome experience in the cooking class. The instructors were happy fun and very knowledgeable n easy going. The atmosphere was perfect, the facilities first rate and extremely clean. Food that we cooked turned out yummy .. no need for an evening meal as we were well fed by our own creations! Highly Recommend this activity!

Excellent afternoon starting with a visit to the fresh food market. Amazing array of herbs and spices. Back at the cooking school, each given our own wok and menu. Ingredients laid out for each dish and staff were very attentive, assisting you with the chopping and cooking. Music playing, Lots of fun and finished with an extravagant lunch. Make sure you are hungry- maybe skip breakfast. I recommend the spicy chicken salad, Tom yum goong soup and massaman curry. Highly recommend.

The class very fun and informative about how local cuisine is made. The food i cooked tasted amazing.

Great experience! The girls who taught us how to cook were very nice and prepared. I learned to cook and then ate some great dishes! :)

Nice people as you would expect in Thailand. Going to the food market was an interesting experience too. Prepared and cooking the food was very easy and a lot of fun. Come hungry as you will have lots to eat. You can take leftovers with you if you want? I recommend it as a great way to spend an afternoon.

It was amazing. The other couple cancelled last minute so it was just my husband and I. I would recommend this experience.
