Phuket: Aeolos Catamaran Tour to Coral & Racha Islands + Lunch

Our tour guide's name was Aiu, and she was an absolute pleasure. Her energy was amazing and 3 year old son and 10 years old daughter loved her. we 100% recommend.

The trip and clientele was not exactly what I was expecting. It was very young and very Chinese and was more of a party boat than I wanted. The price was ok and the tour was all day, so there was some value for money. However, the snorkeling was sub-par compared to what was advertised. Coral Island was fine but at Racha they made everybody wear a life vest, regardless of swimming ability, which greatly hindered/made it impossible to dive down when you were snorkeling. Apparently it’s a government regulation, but it was borderline false advertising in my opinion. The guide (Aiu) was ok and spoke English and Chinese, but was difficult to understand. She spoke very quickly and with a heavy accent. She was friendly enough and did a good job keeping everybody in line though.

During my trip around Phuket, I did several day trips to different islands, and I have to say: this one was definitely my favorite! We visited Coral Island and Racha Island, and both places were absolutely breathtaking. The snorkeling spots were incredible, the water was so clear and the underwater scenery was beautiful. Racha Island in particular felt like a dream. Being on the island with those stunning beaches and crystal-clear water honestly felt unreal. Our tour guide Aiu was truly a wonderful person and made the whole experience even better. She was extremely friendly, always made sure to brief us properly, and had such a relaxed and positive energy!! The entire crew was fantastic and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole trip. On the way back, the sea was a little rough, but the crew handled it perfectly and made sure everyone was doing well and feeling comfortable. The food, snacks, and drinks were also delicious, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. Overall, I would give this experience a 1000/10! I can absolutely recommend this trip to everyone visiting Phuket. A special thank you to Aiu and the amazing crew for making our day so memorable! ❤️🌊

He always put our family’s comfort and condition first, which allowed us to continue enjoying the trip without any stress. The first island was beautiful and we had a great time there. We would especially like to highlight the super friendly and helpful crew on the boat – everyone was very warm and attentive. 🥰 Unfortunately, our tour had to be cut short due to weather conditions, for which the crew was of course not to blame. We were all the more pleased with the fair and uncomplicated solution from Viator. Overall a nice experience and a big thank you to the great crew! 🌴☀️💙
