Phare Circus is more than a conventional acrobatic circus. The artists create and perform stories based on their own life experiences. Drawing from recent history, folklore and modern society, the artists blend drama, dance, live music and circus arts to share a part of their lives with audiences. The performers come from unimaginably difficult social and economic background. They discover and develop their skills at Phare Ponleu Selpak non-profit school. They are able to earn a good living and transform their lives at Phare Circus, breaking the cycle of poverty. Experience Cambodia's most unique, authentic live entertainment by the graduates of Phare Ponleu Selpak non-profit school. Phare is more than a conventional acrobatic circus. Performers use theater, live music, dance and modern circus arts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories; historical, folk and modern. The artists create the stories themselves based on the real-life experiences of themselves and their families. Expect the unexpected. NOTE: Phare Insider guests should arrive by 6:15pm for the backstage visit to the artist, technician and costume work areas.

Great show, good display of talent, well worth a visit. We booked reserved seating but all seating seemed to have a good view and the arena was nice and cool.

Issues with dinner! There is street food before the show. my son vomited all night: greasy and inedible popcorn...

The Cambodian Circus was such a fun time I can’t recommend it enough. We arrived at around 6:30 before the 8pm show. We enjoyed the local craft store before having a delicious dinner, with many options available, and a pre show performance by local artists. Then came the main event and boy was it fun. The talent was amazing and funny throughout. Not only is the show fantastic but the cause behind it is even better. This organization so worth supporting by simply getting your ticket's to enjoy a night at the circus. Don’t miss this if you are in Siem Reap

We had a great time at the Phare Cambodian Circus. It really was a treat, and goes to show that Chat GPT does recommend some great stuff! I would get there for drinks, visit the shop and see the free show, also the food available is great. Don’t just turn up for the show. We were in section A, and worth every penny. The show was outstanding, with the story lovely but chilling, telling the story of Cambodia in the 1970’s.

Very beautiful show. At once modern, classic, Kmer, and international. Alternation of acrobatics and moments of poetry. The mechanics of clowning and the troupe's athletic performance. Also a well-organized site that allows you to have dinner and showcase young artists before the show.

Arrive early so you can enjoy some the street food themed food before the show. The show does change so if you’re interested in seeing a specific show, book accordingly.
