Well-documented interesting itinerary, good pace... the main things to discover on the island at first.
Thank you for your review.
This was such an informative tour. Kimon is an amazing guide with so much knowledge on history, culture & agriculture. It is a full 8 hours, expect to walk well over 10000 steps
Thank you for your review. Kimon is a real gem!!
A relaxed and informative tour around Paros with enough time to explore at our own pace. It was lovely going to Anti Paros too.
Thank you for your review. We are glad you had a good time.
Kimon our guide was simply exceptional - hugely knowledgeable, friendly, organised and so clear. Very passionate about Paros too which makes a massive difference on a tour like this. One of the best guides I've had.
Thank you for your review. In Kimon we know we have a treasure!
Generally good, but the guide does not like to repeat what he has already said, even when asked.
Thank you for your review
This was a great way to orientate yourself and get around Paros for a day. The scenery was beautiful.
Thank you for your review. We were happy to share our Island with you!
We recently did the full day Paros & Antiparos tour and overall I would rate it 3/5. The tour itself was pleasant, the guide was great, and the staff genuinely tried their best to help once things went wrong. However, the pickup experience unfortunately spoiled the start of the day for us.We arrived early at the pickup point and the driver did come, but due to some kind of mistake our names were not on the list, so we were not picked up. We then had to call customer service, and at first they couldn’t locate our booking. After nearly 45 minutes, they finally found it and told us to return to the original pickup spot, where the driver later came back for us. Altogether, the situation caused around an hour of waiting, along with a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety, which affected our mood for the rest of the day. To be fair, the staff were apologetic and did try their best to resolve the issue, which I appreciate. Once the tour actually started, it was enjoyable and well guided. Still, considering the inconvenience, I do feel a small gesture such as arranging a drop-off back to our Airbnb would have gone a long way. The trip had many good moments, but because of the poor organization at the beginning, I think 3 out of 5 stars is the fair rating.
Thank you for the review. We are sorry that you had a bad experience in the begining of your tour and spoiled it. We'll try our best to inprove, so no one esle has the same experience as you did. Thank you again for your review.
Great overview of islands and historical information. Now I know where I want to go back to and explore on my own.
Thank you for your review! We hope you find the time to revisit your favourite spots.
A full day's tour of Paros and it was wonderful. Hotel pickup and drop off made it stress-free. Our guide, Kimon was very informative and well-spoken. The headsets made it easy to follow along.
Yes, the complimentary transfer makes it so much easier! Kimon really is a treasure.
We normally shy away from 'group tours' as we often feel trapped by their itinerary. We booked this as the price was reasonable (we received a flyer from Avra Travel when we boarded our bus transfer from ferry to hotel). We even had pick up and drop off from our hotel to the meeting point included in the tour - made it very easy. This tour surprised us both - it was phenomenal. That said, it was our guide (Kimon) who made it so amazing. His knowledge as well as his interest in and care for his clients was evident. We loved that in each town, he gave us a guided tour (always at a good pace to get the lay of the land) then gave us ample time to explore on our own. We got to see 4 towns (including taking the ferry over to Antiparos) all in one day and didn't feel rushed at all. We felt we got to see everything and learned a lot from Kimon. We even by chance encountered a bride and family getting ready ahead of the wedding and we cheered so they all came out to see us and wave (and the mother of the bride came down and handed out sweet treats to everyone on our tour) - it was a very special spontaneous addition. The tour company should make sure to hold onto Kimon as he is just and incredible tour guide and a pretty great guy.
