PADI Discover Scuba Diving for divers without certification

We (my girlfriend and I) went diving together with Tito today. My girlfriend had no previous diving experience. Tito explained everything to her very well and simply. He gave me a refresher of my knowledge. Tito explained and demonstrated the preliminary exercises very thoroughly. During the actual dives in the water, Tito took a lot of time to look for sea creatures. In doing so, we were able to observe several rays, sharks, and turtles. During the break, there was water and watermelon. We would book this activity again anytime.

We have just returned from our Discover Scuba Diving trip with PocNa. It was fabulous! I have dived before but not for 10+ years and I wanted my sons (15 and 18) to try Scuba for the first time. There are cheaper places advertised online but PocNa is a 5* PADI centre and it showed. We had to complete the online training before starting the training session in the pool. Following that, we headed to the boat for the first of two dives. The first was at MUSA - the underwater art gallery artificial reef - which was incredible. The second was at a nearby coral reef. We saw a couple of sharks, barracuda, eels and the highlight was a sea turtle that swam over to check us out. Our guide, Danny, did a great job and we felt safe at all times. I can’t recommend PocNa highly enough if you are visiting Isla Mujeres.

The dive was straightforward and professionally organized. The dive site is incredibly beautiful and the dive guide Lalo was very cool and well prepared. All in all, look interesting and relaxed. Thanks 😃

This was my third dive ever. The level of expertise and professionalism was beyond my expectations. My guide, Ruben, was extremely attentive to me during the pool instruction phase, and even more so during the two dives, always checking with me if things were ok. The equipment was in great shape. It was a beautiful experience where I felt safe and well taken care of.

I had my first uncertified dive experience and it was much better than I expected. From the beginning the whole process was very professional and safe. Before going to sea, Ruben explained each step with a lot of patience and we practiced first in a pool. That helped me a lot to understand the equipment, breathing and how to move underwater. During the dive, the guide was always watching me, conveying security and calm. Thanks to your accompaniment I was able to enjoy the moment, relax and appreciate the marine life. I totally recommend this experience and especially Ruben for his dedication, patience and professionalism. If this is your first time diving, there's no better way to start.

I had an amazing time diving with Danni, John, and Ruben in Pocna! They made me feel safe and confident every step of the way. The highlight was exploring the incredible underwater MUSA museum—such a unique and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend them if you're looking for fun, professional, and passionate scuba instructors!

Ruben was a great instructor for us as inexperienced divers. He was very patient during each step of the experience and helped us feel safe throughout by answering questions and going at our pace. We appreciated his ability to prepare us for the dive while also managing all of our equipment for us. Would go back and dive with them if back on the island.

As a first time diver, I was both excited and a little nervous about taking the plunge, but thanks to Ruben it turned out to be one of the most incredible experiences of my life! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at ease. They explained every step with Care answered all my questions and made sure I was confident before getting in the water. Once underwater, it was pure magic. The vibrant marine life, the feeling of weightlessness and the sheer beauty of the ocean left me speechless. Ruben stayed close the entire time, constantly checking in and guiding me with gentle encouragement. I never once felt unsafe or unsure. What really stood out was the passionate enthusiasm from the whole team. They didn’t just take us diving. It was amazing!!! Reuben an excellent instructor very clear and patient, inspires a lot of confidence and security. It was my first time realizing that experience and it was really a dream!!!
