My Tour Experience
Tour guide Carlos was energetic and informative. Very good hospitality. We had a great experience. We couldn’t visit one place on the itinerary because of all the parades happening in the city. The vehicle we were on had very limited Air conditioning.

Definitely do this tour!
I’m not one to do reviews but I have to tell you about my tour guide, Alejandro. He was AMAZING!!! Literally 10/10. He experienced life when Pablo Escobar was living and told us so many stories. But besides the stories , guys the history, his knowledge !! He knows so much history , time stamps, dates , location , all of it. Also It turned out the bus we were on, was suppose to have a TV screen to show us a few things but since it didn’t he used his phone and honestly it was pretty great. He even used Bluetooth to connect it to his speaker/mic so everyone can hear. We stopped at the Pablo Escobar museum which Pablo’s living niece Laura owns , very cool. We stopped at a local place for beers/waters. Tip: do not drink so much beer there might not be restrooms later in the tour. There is heavy traffic going to the cemetery and the restroom was closed. Besides that we saw Griselda and Pablo’s grave. And lastly we went to the memorial park that was built to remember all the people that died because of Pablo. Oh and how can I forget he showed us the house/roof where Pablo died! He even had photos of what inside the house looks like (remodeled). If you guys truly want to know Pablo’s life you need to take this tour. Netflix and all of Hollywood will sell you lies for their entertainment. Use fake names and locations. You have to visit the real deal. 10/10.

Duvan was Amazing & the tour is such good value for money!
Duvan made this trip amazing! He did an incredible job of presenting Medellín’s history in a respectful and insightful way, while also sharing personal stories that really highlighted how far the city and its communities have come from its violent past.
He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions, giving us fascinating insight into how the drug trade and trafficking networks operated in Colombia. I also learned so much more than I expected about Colombian culture, history and even local slang!
What really made the experience special was how personal and genuine Duvan was. He shared a lot about his own upbringing and past, which made it feel like so much more than simply having a tour guide. While we were stuck in traffic, he took the opportunity to sit with each person individually, asking questions and getting to know everyone. By the end of the trip, it genuinely felt like he had become a friend to everyone in the group rather than just our guide.
Overall, an excellent and incredibly memorable tour. I would highly, highly recommend this tour — and especially Duvan — to anyone visiting Medellín!
