We achieved our goal of visiting the equator, Peguche Falls and Otavalo market. I enjoyed the breakfast stop at a Bizcocho maker more than I thought I would. There were a couple other stops we didn’t enjoy as much (lake and musician’s hone.) Diana was a very knowledgeable guide and Jimmy a great driver. As with any tour, you have to just go with the flow and let go of minor annoyances. Traffic coming back was terrible but nothing they could do to improve that. Overall, a worthwhile side trip from Quito!
Our guide Irene was energetic, funny and very knowledgeable. She set the tone for the trip and was also great keeping on schedule.
It is a nice tour to spend the day, our guide Irene was super friendly and gave us a lot of information about the places and their traditions. Everything very punctual. Our driver Andrés was excellent.
Excellent tour! From the beginning to the end of the activity everything was well organized and the tour was carried out in the indicated times. IRENE, our guide, was spectacular, always friendly, attentive and informing and sharing her wisdom with a unique style and great sense of humor. 100% recommended!
The tour was very interesting and informative. Carol was our guide, she communicated very well about the tour program. Otavalo indigenous market and the peguche waterfall were the highlight of the tour.
Fortunately, we ran into the guide Jorge again, which improved the experience, and the driver Ivan was also incredible; wonderful service from both of them; the tour, even though it rained all day, was very beautiful and educational.
The main focus is shopping at the amazing outdoor market, but if that’s not you a cup of tea, it’s not the trip for you
