Diana was our guide for our trip to Otavalo. She was excellent. We ended up buying more than we planned at the market. Every merchant there expects you to haggle. They start with a high price knowing that if you are a savvy customer you will want a better price. Almost all of them speak some English and to them the negotiation is like a game that they enjoy. We also had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant Diana recommended. After lunch we did a boat ride on a natural crater lake. The scenery was beautiful.
Thank you very very much for your wonderful review about this magnifiscent region of Ecuador!
Streets lined with choices of ponchos, clothing, handicrafts and jewelry at very affordable prices. I also went to the town of Cotacachi and many great leather goods again with very attractive prices.
Thank you very much!! We are glad to know you loved the comfort and flexibility of your private tour.

This was a great tour. Getting to see the Ecuadorian country side was wonderful. Ximena was wonderful and very informative. The Otavalo market was amazing. We went on a Saturday when it’s even larger than normal.
Dear traveler, Thank you very much for choosing the Otavalo experience!! It was a pleasure!
This tour allowed us to see places in and near Otavalo that we would never have found on our own, in addition to being very comfortable in a private vehicle. The sensational guide! Thank you so much!
Estimados amigos, Muchas gracias por compartir su experiencia con nosotros. Fue un placer servirles de la mejor manera. Regresen pronto por más aventuras juntos! EBT,
My wife and I had an incredible private tour with our tour guide and driver Ximena! We embarked our comfortable car at 8 am from our hotel and started our journey to Otavalo. We stopped at different areas and viewpoints, we had pictures with the famous Alpaca, we admired the countryside and also stopped at a national park and checked the little handicraft shops. We also stopped in another city and looked for leather products. Later, we went to a small workshop, where the owners showe ld us how they create all these amazing Ecuadorian artifacts in the most traditional way! That was probably the highlight of our tour! We ended up buying some of the amazing products there! Later, we went to the Otavalo Market, where slew wondered around the shops, and Ximena was helping us with the translation and negotiations! Finally, we sat at a traditional Ecuadorian restaurant where we enjoyed our delicious food! This has been a wonderful way to explore the traditions of the indigenous people in Ecuador, their amazing handicrafts and the beautiful landscapes! We would also like to thank again Ximena for her amazing company, her stories and for extending the tour for more than two hours! Great person and professional!!
