Really a beautiful canyon! We had a very nice group and the guides were super! They tried very hard to give everyone a nice experience. Super!
Super experience! Due to high season, there were a lot of people in the group, so we needed to wait long before continuing. Nevertheless, the guides were always helpful and highly experienced. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for this great canyoning experience!
This was our second canyoning and we experienced it as a lot less than our previous one (in northern Spain). Despite the fact that the GetYourGuide website has a maximum of 10 people, we were certainly 25 or more. As a result, we have had to wait a lot for each other. It took at least 1 hour before the whole group had their suit and seat belt on! The Canyoning itself did not include many parts. Because it is mainly descents via rappel (about 3), it takes a very long time for everyone to be secured and descend. While waiting you can make some jumps here and there, but all this is very meagre for the price we paid for 4. On the way back we were offered another Albanian lunch, included in the price. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel and communication in advance went well and smoothly. The guides are super professional and guide everyone down in a safe and reassuring way. The gorge was very dry considering the time of year, which makes the whole thing even less beautiful and spectacular. There was no Bigazi Waterfall at all, but of course there is nothing the organization can do about it.
Well organized. Guides are very caring with people who are a little scared and very friendly. We were lucky to have water (storm the day before), otherwise the experience must be less fun. Neoprene wetsuit in very good condition.
This was a good trip very much enjoyed by my family. Pick up from the hotel was very efficient and the canyoning was safe and well organised. My only gripe is that the trip took so incredibly long. There was a stop en route at a friend’s shop/cafe, and another unnecessary stop at a friend’s shop/café on the way back to the hotel. Also, our group was massive so there was far too much waiting during the trip. The whole day was 10 hours long but could easily have taken 5 hours even taken leisurely. This wasn’t the fault of the incredibly professional climbers that took us on the trip, especially Enea.
The activity was very good, maybe with a little too many people! We were 2 groups for a total of 30 people, which surely slowed down the activity.
Great experience to do this canyoning with our three daughters.
Fantastic tour with action where there were several rounds with rappelle, jump and skating! Great guides and great trip if you are for a little action and fun
I'd like to give more stars for the excellent guides, they were really top guys! However, it would not be fair to consider the canyoning itself as good. Very short level 1 canyoning, about 2 slides, 3 (small) jumps and 2 rappels. Canyon also runs dry in the summer so there is hardly any water running from one pool to the other (slides are dry) and the waterfall is now nonexistent ! A normal canyoning takes up to eight people, here we were three times as many about. Total novices which made more experienced people wait extremely long. You could do it because you are in Albania but then the following problems come; 1) lose a whole day (9-19h !) Including food on the return journey. For a canyon that you do with some experience in 45 minutes. 2) the price: the price is really too high; in more expensive parts of Europe (Italy, France, Spain) you will find much better canyonings for the same price or often less money! So: either you know something about canyoning and then you just skip this one. Either you don’t know canyoning yet but then you better wait for better alternatives elsewhere in Europe because for the price you definitely shouldn’t do it.
Fantastic guides who despite car problems delivered a fantastic experience in delicious nature and with pressure canyoning - 5 STORE stars from here
