One hour boat trip with a local (Commented FR & EN)

Description
Hop aboard the boat for an authentic one-hour ride with Nicolas, a Saint-Malo child from a fishing family. Passionate about maritime history and the beauty of the Emerald Coast, Nicolas enthusiastically shares his knowledge and anecdotes about port life, the transformation of the city over the centuries and the hidden treasures of the region. You will sail in a small group to enjoy an intimate and friendly experience. From the sea, Saint-Malo and Dinard reveal themselves from a unique angle: the bay and its villas, maritime forts such as the Petit Bé or the majestic ramparts of Saint Malo. A perfect moment to live at the beginning of your stay to soak up the Falkland spirit and plan your next discoveries in the area.

Great experience, a really top-notch guide, simple and easy-to-understand explanations. Thanks again.
very pleasant ride with a great welcome and very clear explanations about St Malo, its history, and its islets, I highly recommend Marin Malouin
Great boat trip. The guide explained things well in French and in English. Was a great way to find out about some of the history of St Malo without the children complaining their legs were tired 😂. They really enjoyed the boat experience and liked standing at the back and front of the boat. Only a small group so easy to ask more questions as well. This has been one of our favourite parts of our stay in St Malo.
Unprofessional and dishonest tour operator! Not traveler friendly with details and accommodation. Do not use. Viator in Europe especially in France!!
Hello, you posted a negative review calling me dishonest. I won't dwell on your behavior, but simply state the facts: 1 - You were 10 minutes late for the departure time and 25 minutes late for the scheduled meeting time. 2 - I offered to wait for you and guide you, but you got angry because you didn't want to think or follow my instructions. 3 - You demanded a refund, which I refused—and which Viator also refused—because you were throwing a tantrum. You are the third person to leave a negative review on Viator, and just like the other two (also from the US), you didn't board the tour because I refused to hold your hand. Your frustration is driving you to leave a review that contradicts what actually happened, but I will not give in to your "king-like" whims. I am not convinced that the dishonesty lies on my side...
Already done in July 2025, I went back without hesitation because I loved everything about this excursion: the simplicity of the booking and the boarding location, the "intimate" side with about ten people, the coffee and excellent cookies offered during the visit, the proximity to the sea due to the modest size of the boat on which you can move around freely, the beauty of this bay and its rich history. You will above all be in the excellent company of Nicolas, with whom you feel at ease right away.
Nicolas is great. Simple explanations about the history of the Malouin coast. Very pleasant.
Great experience thanks to a competent and friendly boat captain who offers extensive explanations in French and English. On board, there was also coffee and Breton cookies. Only the signage for the departure point is in need of improvement.
Nicolas was very friendly and informative. He helpfully said everything in both French and English. The boat ride was lovely, and the sights were beautiful. Strongly recommend!
Very friendly guide and we found the time enjoyable and informative. We learned a lot about the city of Saint-Malo
Very interesting - Nicolas is a passionate and fascinating guide. We recommend it!
