This is a plan to go out to Ishigaki Island at night to look for subtropical creatures and starry sky. Ishigaki is full of creatures and plants rarely seen in the mainland! Also, the starry sky certified as the first starry sky protected area in Japan is like a natural planetarium. The guide will take you to the recommended places depending on the weather of the day. If you are lucky, you may see a giant coconut crab... Embark on an eco-friendly adventure with us, which our eco-tour is designed with sustainability in mind.

Pickup Locations & Times
Please be punctual and gather at the main entrance of Ishigaki Port Terminal (Look for the red mailbox next to the central entrance of the Euglena Ishigaki Ferry Terminal) Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before 7:30 PM on the day of the tour.

Unforgettable night jungle and starry sky tour with Taishi! 🌌🦀 My husband and I joined the Night Jungle and Starry Sky Tour, and it was hands down the absolute highlight of our trip to Ishigaki! Our guide, Taishi—who actually looks like Takuya Kimura!—was incredibly friendly and welcoming right from the start. During the drive and throughout our jungle trek, he shared so many fascinating insights about Ishigaki's local life and geology. We were lucky enough to spot a Coconut Crab, a chrysalis, and magical fireflies along the path. The best part was looking up at the constellations over the ocean—it was such a peaceful, happy moment that we will cherish forever. Huge thanks to Taishi for being an amazing guide and giving us the best time. Highly recommended!

My son, a fourth grader, and his three parents and children participated. My son looked nervous at first, but as he drove down the road at night and listened to the tour guide explain, he seemed excited. As soon as we entered the course, we discovered creatures such as lizards and frogs. The adventure along the way, illuminated by lights, was just right, and my son was excited throughout! It was cloudy at the time of departure, but on the way out to the coast, there was a full starry sky! I was impressed by this. We were very happy to see the coconut crabs and have the family take a photo with us.
小学4年生の息子と親子3人で参加しました。息子は最初こそ緊張した表情でしたが、車で夜の道を進みながら車内でツアーガイドさんの説明を聞くうちに、ワクワク期待が高まっている様子。 コースに入ると早速、トカゲやカエルなどの生き物を発見しました。ライトで照らしながら探索する道中の冒険感もちょうどよく、息子は終始大興奮でした！ 出発時は曇り空でしたが、途中海岸に出ると満天の星空が！これには感動しました。 ヤシガニも見れ、家族ごとに記念撮影もしてもらい、大満足のツアーでした。

The English-speaking staff taught me a lot about Ishigaki Island on the guided tour at night. The guide also took beautiful photos of the starry sky and sent them by airdrop. I was really glad I signed up for the guided tour on the first day of Ishigaki Island.

I was so grateful to be able to research the creatures I didn't know their names on the spot after the tour and tell me. The tour itself was fun, so it was good to join. I was happy to see some rare sea snakes.

I could observe coconut craps very closely. I could see the beautiful night sky. It was warm but there were no mosquitoes and I could observe it pleasantly.

The coconut craps were so cute, they were dark, but they weren't disturbing at all. I saw five, and one ate pineapple. Going to the beach to see the last star was amazing.

There is more fun and mystery than expected. The guide actively searched for coconut crabs and was lucky to see 5 marinas. The stars shone a lot and left a good picture. I want to come next time.

Two guides of bright and enjoyable atmosphere You did very well with the insulate and the explanation. You made the explanation about safety clear. You can also see coconut crabs and lucky sea snakes, and most importantly, you and your wife will remember to see a quiet sky filled with stars on a small beach. Hello! Akari was incredible but I thoughts that the tour was especially focused on stars observation, but not because there wasn’t chairs or anything to observe stars. The tour is focused almost only into exploring jungle and I don’t recommend it If you don’t like bugs honestly
