I was asking for a hotel pick-up, but I arrived a minute or two late, and I got a little anxious, so I asked the hotel front desk to call me and the car arrived. You can't be late. What about being a minute late? After that it was very smooth.

Raj is professional and considerate. Our flight was about two hours late and we were worried about how to get to our hotel. We were so happy to see Raj holding a sign with my name when we exited customs. Since this was our first visit to Johannesburg, his knowledge of the city and the recommendations he made were very beneficial. We will recommend Raj to everyone visiting Joburg.

The driver was waiting for me as I got off the plane. He was very helpful with my luggage and very informative I was apprehensive at first but once I met him I was quite comfortable as a single individual in a foreign country

Raj went above and beyond as our driver. The computers went down at passport control so what should have taken 20 minutes took 105 minutes. Raj patiently waited for us. We were in communication with him the entire time.

Raj was our driver. fortunately for both airport transfers. Lovely, professional and enjoyed his commentary about Johannesburg. The ride was smooth and seamless.

I was not collected and never travelled with Viator even though I booked and paid in advance. I came to the meeting area at 10:35 after going through passport and customs and no-one from Viator was there to meet me although they had my travel details. The airport information desk had never heard of Viator and there was no contact phone number on the receipt so I could not contact anyone to find out what had happened. The information centre advised me to get other transport because it might be a scam. I did get other transport and at 11:25 I received a WhatsApp written message from someone saying he was a driver to ask whether I was through passport control (he did not say he was waiting for me!). Since this was so late after my flight arrival time and I was already at my final destination, I did not respond, fearing that this was yet another scam.

Had all our 4 rides to airport with Raj. He is such a great guy and a friendly gentleman. Received and dropped us promptly on time . Was absolutely a pleasure riding with him. He engaged us with very informative and interesting conversations about history and other topics of the city. He also suggested restaurants, shopping places and sightseeing areas we can visit safely. Felt very safe with him and highly recommend this service. If he comes to pick you up, consider you are very lucky.
