07h30 - 8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for transfer to Ninh Binh. 09h15: You will have a short break of 15 - 20 minutes to stretch your legs, use the facilities or have a quick snack.
10h30: Visiting Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of Dinh King and Le King to learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
11h15 - 11h45: It’s time to join our 30 minutes cycling activity to discover the life of the local people. Or stay behind and either relax in the restaurant for sightseeing and capture the views around lake, waterfall and valleys. 12h00-12h45: You will have a lunch with local specialties in the private area of our Trang An Heritage Garden. The vegetarian option is also available.
13h15 - 13h30: Tam Coc, known as “Halong Bay on the land”, where you will spend 1.5 hours on the boat to explore this area. On this excursion down the Ngo Dong River, you will pass through the beautiful paddy fields, limestone karst formation, and a stunning cave system including Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves for a unique experience.
15h30: We continue to visit Mua Cave and climb 500 steps to reach the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain, overlooking the amazing view of the city and Tam Coc below.
16h30 - 17h00: Transfer back to Hanoi. 19h00 - 19h30: Drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter

I love the boat tour and the 500 stairs to the top of the mountain. The ancient temple was just ok, Tony explain very well the history of the King and why they move the temple. Good history and not too long. The extra tip to the boat driver should be include in the price. The van was clean and great temperature. Tony was a great guide

This is a great day trip from Hanoi. Our tour manager, David/Duc, was a good communicator before the trip and during. Learning about the country and culture is always interesting. We really appreciated the options if we didn't want to participate in an activity such as the biking and climbing. It was very hot and humid when we were there but most people participated in the activities. The boat trip was the best! Definitely unmissable. We highly recommend this trip, especially if you have David.

Incredible experience. The bus was comfortable, the activity is really worth it with magnificent landscapes. We had a lot of fun throughout the day, we didn't see the time pass, Loi is a great guide, very attentive and funny, which made the day even more pleasant.
Cannot recommend this trip enough- Loi was an amazing guide. Great value for money. As a female solo traveller, it was a great opportunity to socialise and explore at the same time.
