Cloudy weather...

Unfortunately there was too much cloud so we could not see Mt Fuji at all. The big Buddha & lake ferry trip was awesome. The Obon festival & rain event caused chaos on the highways so our bus journey back took 2hrs longer than expected. The tour guides were delightful & very helpful.

A must-do when you have little time

Essential excursion for your trip to Japan. You see all the most important things in the Hakone and Mount Fuji area. The organization is very good, although the pace of the visits is fast, there is time to see everything if you don't get too distracted. We chose to book the lunch option, which gives you more time to see the area; you don't have to go around looking for a place that has space, since they are very busy places. The boat trip is about 12 minutes, but it is worth it. At the end of the trip we couldn't see Mount Fuji due to the clouds, but without a doubt the excursion was an experience. The guide, José, explains the curiosities of the different places and answers all your questions; he also makes the bus trips for the activity enjoyable, a real pro. The activity has several bus trips, since several separate places are visited, but they serve to rest after the early start. Without a doubt, I would recommend this option when you have little time on your trip to see this area.

Bus day trip

It started very early and we couldn't have breakfast at the hotel. Since we arrived so early, the various temple services were closed. The best part was the guide, José, who helped us with everything he could.
