This jeep experience is a much easier way to catch first light over Mount Batur, Lake Batur, and Mount Agung. You’ll be picked up before dawn, ride up by 4WD to a sunrise viewpoint, and enjoy a simple breakfast while the sky changes colour.
After sunrise, the trip continues across Batur’s black lava fields, where you’ll see the volcano’s rugged, darker side and stop for photos along the way. It’s a good fit for non-hikers, families, or anyone who wants the views with less effort

We had an absolutely amazing time from start to finish! The experience was incredibly well-organized, fun, and a complete highlight of our trip. Our guide, Jeru, made sure everything ran smoothly and even took some incredible pictures of us throughout the day that we will treasure forever. Highly recommended!
Had a great experience with Mangkuarta. Smooth pickup from hotel, spectacular sunset view followed by lava field photo stop. Overall value for money.
They take great pictures and are very kind! They even provided breakfast, so I had a hearty start to the tour. Communication in English was pretty good. I recommend Yoga and Sarwa as your guides.

I was mainly interested to see the sunrise from Mount Batur. I am so glad I did a jeep tour instead of hiking/trekking. I would not have been able to do the hiking on such little sleep and no training, even though I have hiked a sunrise summit before. The hotel pickup and return was by Indra. He was an excellent driver and he drove over two hours each way, with heavy traffic on the way back. I am thankful for his safe driving. I could sleep most of the way back without worrying. He had great communication about pick up/ drop offs and handed me off to the next persons. He did a great job. The sunrise portion of the tour was by Jero. He drove the jeep up the mountain with plenty of time to spare. I ended up with a lot of pix and some videos too. The sunrise was beautiful and memorable. You really can appreciate nature of the volcanic rock formations and the sun. I am glad Jero was able to capture the moments for me! Now I can show all my friends and family. The other parts of the tour were excellent too. I enjoyed the hot springs (perfect temp and view) and the coffee plantation tour explained all the plants and animals there with no pressure to buy their products. They do have unique products in the shop that you cannot buy online. So bring money for that! Great stop for gifts.
As we were staying at Canggu, the pickup time was very early at 2am. we ultimately arrived ahead of sunrise by an hour and our driver guide, Batur made sure we were parked at a good height to catch the sunrise. His hospitality was on point amd hence 5 stars for his service and earnesty...not an easy drive up this rather rocky journey but it was worth it!
We had an amazing experience on our Mount Batur sunrise tour! Our drivers Lanang and Jero were incredibly friendly, punctual, and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Lanang picked us up and made sure we were comfortable during the ride. He shared interesting facts about Bali and Mount Batur along the way, and even helped us arrange a local breakfast with a great view after the hike. The car was clean, safe, and the whole trip felt very well organized. Highly recommend this tour — they made the early wake-up totally worth it! 🌋🌅
We had an amazing trip with Liang (our driver from Ubud to the mountain base) and Raka (our jeep driver). They are both fantastic and friendly guides. Exceptional views and a great experience. We would definitely recommend. Our jeep driver was also an amazing photographer and gave us lots of tips to take some nice photos.
I truly enjoyed the experience with this jeep tour! my driver, komang, was so nice to me. he drove safely and ensured that i was okay throughout the rocky roads. he even helped to take good pictures of me and it turned out AMAZING. he also served breakfast for me (banana bread, choc wafer, egg and tea) and i really loved it. PLS PLS book this jeep tour, highly recommended 10/10 🤩
An amazing day tour with great views! Our driver Kota picked us up on time and was amazing to deal with! Made sure we were comfortable and ready. Made sure we had done everything we wanted to. Our jeep driver Wayan was amazing, great driving, great photos and great conversation. Pointed out a lot of things for us to see. Would highly recommend this tour!
