Sudiman was an incredible driver, very chatty the entire time and made us feel like we’d known each other for years. He was always happy to talk about anything from food to culture in Bali, he made the whole experience so much better. Our jeep driver also took great photos which added to the experience.
I guess it’s a must do but it’s wasn’t seamless for us. Jeep was pretty dirty and wet inside. Driver seemed to be suprised when I asked him to wipe and dry the seat. Make sure you wrap up real warm. Blankets are there for hire but not included. Main issue for us was once we arrived at Mount Batur our driver literally disappeared for almost an hour. Everyone else was having a nice hot drink and breakfast. By the time he got back we were in the need of the bathroom and everything was then a rush to eat and go to the loo and enjoy the sunrise. It definitely spoilt the experience for us but maybe was a one off bad driver.
This experience was amazing. Our driver, Putu took amazing photos and was very kind! I would recommend this beautiful experience.

Bali Trekking Guide Really disappointed. We were supposed to get breakfast, attended the black sand and hot springs and were not taken. $170 Australia dollars Down the drain. The driver’s were ok but didn’t speak English as promised. The jeep car was so rusty and rundown we thought we were going to get carbon dioxide poisoning. We asked for a partial refund but was declined. Don’t use Bali Trekking Guide, they are dodgie as hel.

Sunrise jeep with no sun but view were still stunning, expired the results from the black lava I showed me how steam is still being generated stull to this day, had a great time exactly as advertised, next time I'll choose to go in summer
