Description

What truly sets this experience apart is its intimacy—travel in a small group of no more than 8 guests, in a comfortable minivan. This not only creates a relaxed, personal atmosphere, but also allows us to bypass long border queues, giving you more time to explore and enjoy. The natural beauty of Kravice is simply mesmerizing. Feel the cool mist on your skin as cascading waterfalls tumble into a crystal-clear emerald pool, creating a serene oasis that feels almost otherworldly. It’s the kind of place that photos can’t quite capture—you have to experience it. Then, step into history in Mostar, a city gracefully set along the emerald Neretva River. Wander its cobbled streets and discover a rich cultural tapestry shaped over centuries. At its heart stands the iconic Stari Most, a masterpiece of 16th-century Ottoman architecture and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Balkans.

Worth It Only If You Have Extra Time

Overall, the experience was average. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and he provided plenty of information about Dubrovnik, Croatia, Mostar, and the Balkans in general. However, I felt the trip involved too much travelling for the amount of time actually spent at the destinations. If you are visiting Dubrovnik for a week or less, I would probably not recommend this tour, as you will spend almost an entire day on the trip. The waterfalls were nice, but around one hour is probably enough to see them. Mostar itself is also a relatively small town, and around two hours, including lunch, is sufficient to explore the main highlights. Therefore, you spend a full day travelling and visiting the destinations for what I would consider roughly three hours of effective sightseeing. In my opinion, there are many other day trips from Dubrovnik that may offer a better use of your limited time. That said, if you are staying in Dubrovnik for more than a week and have already explored the main attractions, this trip could be a worthwhile option to see more of the region.

Day trip to Mostar

Our guide, Miodrag, was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed out lots of interesting sights along the way to Mostar and shared history of the region. Crossing the border was easy—Miodrag knew the best routes and timing to avoid long waits. Highly recommend him as a guide.

We had a great time on...

We had a great time on this tour! Our driver ‘Disco’ was so nice and informative and the van was comfortable and cool on the very hot day we went. The early start time was perfect for the falls because we got to swim right before all the crowds really started coming. Disco had great recommendations for Mostar as well so we wouldn’t get scammed. Mostar is a beautiful little medieval town and worth a visit. Great tour.

Great guides, great way to travel

First thing to know. You are crossing the border from Croatia into BiH and back. Semi private trip means you cross with a max 8 people. Imagine 30-60 seconds per person for entry/exit and then compare that to a bus of 80. 8min vs. 80min. Second, your guide can choose smaller crossings that busses cannot. All this is to say small group is the way to go and Laus Travel does a great job. Bruno was fantastic and helped make sure we knew details about the area as well as common ways people make mistakes. He was a true guide for us!

Great tour

We had a wonderful trip with our guide Miodrag. He had many interesting stories to share about the history of the region and his own life. He provided great recommendations for the rest of our trip, such as trying the oysters from Ston. He managed the border crossings well, and made sure that everything was easy, simple, and quick, which was not always the case for other tours. The drive is long, but Miodrag made sure that there was never a boring moment.

Interesting trip with knowledgeable guide

We booked a small group tour but ended up with a private tour which was a great surprise. Our guide Miodrag was very knowledgeable and knew the best way to cross the border so we didn't have a long wait. It was an early start but worth it to reach the waterfalls when quieter. Would recommend

Nice day trip from Dubrovnik

We had a nice day trip from Dubrovnik to both Kravice waterfalls and Mostar. We were picked up outside old town at the appropriate place and time. It was a small group so we only had 8 people on the tour. The van was very comfortable for space and A/C. There was ample time at both places to enjoy the scenery and tour the town. I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see Bosnia-Herzegovina.
