This was a delightful cruise, in spite of the high winds limiting us to just the south coast of the island. The crew were amazing (thank you Timos ) and cooked a delightful meal or Orzo with shrimp plus a traditional Greek salad. The wine and beer were flowing and everyone seemed to have a good time. Ol5 hours is a pretty long cruise but probably goes by much quicker when when you can stop at neighboring islands and sail further.
We were contacted on 20 July, 4 days before our trip and told there was a technical issue with the boat. We were given the option for a refund or to go on to a different boat at no additional cost. We chose to go on a different boat as we had already planned for this in our trip. We were told to cancel the booking with no refund on tripadvisor and we would be contacted about the alternative boat. We turned up at the meeting point on the day of the trip at 2.50pm. We couldn’t locate anyone who knew where our boat would be so we called the tour company and was told it was actually 3.30pm. We hung around and 3.30 come and went. We eventually spoke to a young man who called the office. He asked me to speak with them and they advised that as we cancelled and as we never confirmed with the new boat, we were no longer on any booking. I requested confirmation that they had tried to contact me regarding the new boat but this was never provided as it was likely never sent. They then said we could go on another boat for an extra €800 which we obviously refused. We booked this due to the reviews but we honestly had an awful experience and wouldn’t recommend at all.
Dear Natasha, Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. We would like to clarify a few points and address what happened. First, we can confirm that a full refund for your original booking was issued to you following the cancellation, as per our agreement when we informed you of the technical issue with the boat. We're sorry for any confusion around this. Regarding the alternative boat on the day: the standard rate for that yacht is €1,600, and the €800 quoted to you already reflected a 50% discount, offered specifically as a gesture of goodwill given the inconvenience you'd experienced. We recognize this wasn't communicated clearly at the time, and we understand the frustration this caused, especially after everything else that had gone wrong that day. The core issue was an internal error: your transfer to the new boat was not properly confirmed with the operating company, due to a mistake by a newer member of our team who is still completing her training. This should not have happened, and it is not representative of the standard of service we hold ourselves to. We are taking steps internally to ensure bookings and confirmations are properly checked before a change of this kind is finalized. We're genuinely sorry for the stress and disappointment this caused on what should have been an enjoyable part of your trip. If you'd like to discuss this further, please reach out to us directly at [email/phone] with your booking reference. Kind regards, George Iatridis Manager | Catamaran Group
This sunset cruise was a highlight of our trip! Demetious and Emil were a fantastic pair of captain and first mate. The weather was perfect, the ride was smooth with no seasickness concerns, the food was fresh and delicious (fruit at the beginning, wine/beer/soda/water options, and a dinner of homemade shrimp/orzo that was seasoned perfectly with a salad and bread. the ship smelled delicious while it was cooking!), they were friendly and personable, and there was enough space on the boat to stick to your own group or to mingle with other groups. The location was private and there was plenty of time to sit, swim, float, and relax. We made it back to the port just before sunset, so don't expect to be stranded on the water when it gets dark.
Great experience with door to door service. The captain made the best of the conditions of the wind. Overall we had a great time and a fabulous lunch!
We stopped in front of an island, there was no explanation, there were supposed to be 2 stops but we only did 1. It started late and the wait was under the sun.
Loved our sunset cruise. The boat was great, the locations we stopped at beautiful, the crew was fun & engaging, the dinner was excellent and the sunset was spectacular!
Great service! Great customer service. I would definitely do it again.. The food was delicious. They had plenty of water. The pictures taken at the stops were breathtaking. The staff was more than courteous. I would definitely recommend anyone that I know that goes to Greece to this company for this cruise. I will never forget it. It is an experience of a lifetime. Thank you so much for your exemplary service and your excellent customer service
We had a catamaran experience with about 9 people and our two guides it was the perfect size group. We got to stop in two swim areas and we were provided an orzo pasta meal that was excellent. The transportation could have been more clear which I am not sure who’s responsible for that as this company may outsource to another company. We were told one price but then were told a new price when we got to the bus it was slightly overpriced at 50 euros when we were told 30 euros. It would have been nicer if we were picked up where we were dropped off as it is walking distance to the cruise ships. However, once on the boat the crew was fabulous and we had a great time.
I booked this catamaran for our last day on Mykonos Island, and it didn’t disappoint. The 2 crew members were so lovely and friendly too. We sailed on a day where it was very high winds, so unfortunately had to change route, but it was still very enjoyable. One thing was at the time of booking it said the cruise would be limited to 10 people, but there was actually 14 of us on the day, but there was still ample room. I would definitely recommend, and watching the sunset was beautiful.
Very nice catamaran experience, incredible swimming, and very good food! The crew is top-notch.
