Brayan was great and all the people here, they were all so welcoming and the monkey experience was amazing we were with 3 families and I would say lasted an hour and half with direct fun with the monkeys we had such a great time would recommend this trip to everyone also had another 30minutes with your own cameras for some more fun, the pineapple 🍍 pina was great at the bar.

We had a nice time at the VIP monkey experience. It was well run and everything was explained to us when we got there. I wish we have been told some information beforehand so we would have dressed accordingly. I didn’t realize that the monkeys were going to be running across our laps and defecate on us. So I wore light colored clothing and it was filthy. Had I known I would’ve worn something dark colored. The transportation was 30 minutes late and there was no communication about how to meet the transportation back to the hotel. The Mo keys were adorable and my family had a great time.

Monkey House VIP was a fun experience for the family, but it was somewhat disappointing to discover that the visit takes place at a house that functions more like an enclosure than the rural, nature-oriented experience with trekking and scenic views that we had expected. Interacting with the monkeys is definitely fun, but be prepared to get quite a bit of dirt on your clothes and hair, especially if you are not wearing a hat. Another disappointment was that visitors are not allowed to take pictures during the main interaction. Instead, professional photographers take the photos, which are then offered for purchase at prices that can reach hundreds of dollars. Most concerning to us was learning that none of the monkey species at the facility are endemic to the Dominican Republic; according to the staff, the animals were brought from South America and Africa. Although the staff assured us that all of the monkeys are rescued and that their acquisition was done legally, the growing popularity of monkey tourism in the Dominican Republic inevitably raises questions about animal welfare, conservation, and the potential for wildlife trafficking. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, particularly for the children, but we left with mixed feelings. We would have preferred an experience more focused on observing and learning about wildlife in a natural setting, with greater transparency about the animals' origins and stronger emphasis on conservation and responsible tourism.
Dear family, we are happy to know that you enjoyed your experience in large part and we understand your feeling as sometimes there is no time to know the history of each of them, to know how they got to their new home and to see what connection we have between them all. Monkey House is free of cages, plays among fruit trees and is once again a happy monkey. It may not be their place of origin, but it is their home and we are proud of every advance in freedom. Lots of interactive time with monkeys and parrots. Area was clean and animals were clean and appeared to be well kept. Prices in gift shop and for pictures were very expensive, but they do provide an opportunity during the second part of the excursion to take your own pictures
