Minneriya National Park Safari Private Jeep with Hotel Pickup

Unbelievable experience. Asela is an amazing tour guide. He kindly picked us up from our accommodation. We initially wanted to do Minneriya but he advised us that Kaudulla national park had more recent sightings. All I can say is that we saw over 100+ elephants on our tour… He strategically picked out the BEST spots on the safari, he managed to get us so close to the elephants, and was very patient with us whilst we took our photos. We absolutely recommend as we had such an amazing day. Thank you Asela!

We had an absolutely fantastic safari experience as a family of four. Since this was our first safari, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but it exceeded all our expectations. Our driver arrived right on time and was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the trip. We were lucky enough to see a variety of wildlife, including getting remarkably close to several elephants, which was truly unforgettable. The entire experience was well-organized, enjoyable, and exceeded what we had hoped for. To top it off, our driver kindly accommodated our request to be dropped off in town for a meal instead of returning directly to the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, this was an amazing safari experience that created wonderful family memories. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable wildlife adventure. A well-deserved 9/10!

Booked a day in advance. We could not be picked up because our hotel was just too far away. We met at an agreed place and drove to the park. Lovely experience!

Very good tour, guide knew exactly where to go to see the wildlife. Had communications with other drivers so can get to the areas where there was many elephants. Provided water and fruit on the tour.

Depending on the appearance of elephants, they will change their destination to something other than Minneriya. The hotel was so far away that they couldn't really pick me up, but for an extra fee they picked me up at the hotel. Thank you for being so flexible.

Our guide was incredibly professional and skilled at tracking down elephants.He was also very thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely dedicated throughout the entire tour.

From the moment we booked, the communication was excellent. Our driver Asela got in touch with us to confirm pick up date, time and location. We had originally booked Minneriya but Asela informed us that due to the high water levels, the elephants had moved elsewhere and gave us a choice of Minneriya or Habarana. As we were keen to see the elephants, we chose Habarana and we were not disappointed! He arrived on time and in the 2 hour safari (not including pick up and drop off time), we were lucky enough to observe 5 different herds including 2 with very young babies. He was a careful driver and very good at getting us to where the elephants were grazing and giving us time to quietly enjoy observing them. Thank you for an amazing safari experience.

Really knowledgeable driver/guide. Went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience and located vehicle position in anticipation of elephant movement when busy locations with many jeeps to provide best views. Also drove slowly when possible so that we two over 60s could stand safely and see everything. Good English. Provided water for safari and fresh fruit afterwards. Saw many elephants and included family with one month old baby calf. Brilliant experience
