Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group)

Description
Hosted in a real chef’s home — not a commercial cooking school. This experience is designed to feel personal, not staged. You won’t be in a classroom with individual stations, but in a real home where everything happens together, just like in Italy. I’m a trained chef with experience in professional kitchens, and the focus here is not just following recipes, but understanding technique — so you can actually recreate what you learn. We work with carefully selected ingredients, avoid shortcuts, and keep the group small to ensure everyone is involved. It’s a balance between professional cooking and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere — more like cooking with a friend who knows exactly what he’s doing.

This class was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Milano. Rafael was so welcoming. He communicated beforehand with us about the meet up place. Easygoing, our uber ran late & Rafael was very accommodating. Gave us important information about cooking products; Great education for us interested in quality. We had so much fun & hands on. He gave us some amazing bread & wine for those who chose it before class. The final product was so delicious. We loved it so much, that we’re ready to try the recipes at home & share with our close family. Definitely a must do class when in Milano.
Small wonderful result. Rafael Simply awesome, How he taught us how important the ingredients are. Just great. The pasta with the sauces then To dessert the tiramisu (Not dry real sweet), it is worthwhile to learn as yourself inspiration, new and make friends. Just daring new things to contemplate.
It was amazing time and food. Learned so much basics we didn’t know about pasta and sauces. Very good to hear background history. We all had great time as family. Definitely recommend this!!
We had a wonderful cooking experience at Chef Rafae's home. It was such a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience from start to finish. Chef Rafael was incredibly friendly, patient, and passionate about Italian cuisine. We truly enjoyed learning how to prepare traditional Italian dishes and discovering the stories and techniques behind them. The atmosphere was lovely and made the experience feel very personal and authentic — almost like cooking with a friend in their own home. The food was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every moment of the class. Thank you, Chef Rafael, for your hospitality, generosity, and for making this experience so special. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian cooking experience!
The most enjoyable night and delicious dinner! Best pasta we ever had. We were at his home for just over 4 hours and every minute was worth it
Great time with Rafael. We were able to cook and share pasta and Tiramisu. Being in a small group really makes a difference in the quality of the exchanges and what we learned. Rafael is a great teacher! I recommend it without hesitation.
Rafael was brilliant. eccentric and made it really informative too so we can make sure to buy the correct ingredients for future cooking also. really really happy and thoroughly reccomend. And the food at the end was to die for! the best pasta/tiramisu we've ever had
My sister and I had a good time. We enjoyed this cooking class. Thanks to Rafael for his energy and for his advice!
This small group cooking experience was the highlight of our Milan trip. Chef Rafa was hospitable, amazing and extremely knowledgeable. He is a restaurant veteran and gave us the inside scoop. The homemade pasta with tomato sauce and tiramisu were the best we have ever eaten! Afterwards, all other Italian restaurants tasted OK.
Our chef Rafael was fantastic, both to cook and to get us involved in the group. Many nice tips about products, eateries and wines. Everyone in the family (2 children) was satisfied.
