Show up hungry!

Well worth doing, especially with our guide Andrew who was an encyclopedia of information about architecture and Melbourne history as well as food! The portions were both generous and delicious, ranging from (in our case) authentic bahn mi to dumplings, sweets and his take on the best coffee in the city. Food tours are a unique and wonderful way to get to know a city and this is one of the best.

Operator response

Joan, thanks so much for the brilliant review! "Show up hungry" is definitely the golden rule for this walk. Andrew really is a walking encyclopedia, so I'll make sure he hears your lovely shoutout about his history and architecture trivia. So glad the banh mi, dumplings, and coffee hit the spot for you—hope to see you back for another round next time you're in town!

Book it, you won’t be disappointed!!

This was an excellent tour from start to finish! Dave was a fantastic guide, full of information that was presented well. Learnt so much about the history of Melbourne, arcades and places we ate at. As well as sampling some great food. A tip - don’t eat before this tour!! At the end of the tour we were given a list of the places we had sampled food/drinks as well as other places to eat and visit. Will definitely go back to these places and try some of the others when next in Melbourne as well as passing on to friends/family. Will happily do one of their other tours next time and recommend to others.

Operator response

Debra, thank you for the wonderful recommendation! "Don't eat before this tour" is the absolute best advice, and I'm so glad Dave made sure your group was well taken care of from start to finish. We love putting together that recap list so the delicious discoveries don't have to end when the walking tour does. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back for another one of our walks next time you're exploring the city!
