Odds are you will be having a tour with one of the owners of the farm. You will be welcomed with a vanilla infused beverage upon your arrival. There will be a short introduction to our farm and Hali'imaile history. I light walk through the farm to our vanilla shade structures and we will take you through the difficult and timely process from the vanilla vine flowering to extract. In addition to the vanilla you will also learn about some of the other products we grow on our farm including Lilikoi or Passion fruit. Finally end the tour back at our covered patio for a vanilla inspired dessert.

The meeting point is Look for the Maui Vanilla Farm sign at the end of our street. Turn at the sign and travel approximately 300 yards. We are the second house on the left, its Blue. There is a second Maui Vanilla Farm Sign at the end of our driveway.. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Candace and Clay are extremely knowledgeable and they explain everything throughout the growing process. We learned a lot and thought it was very interesting. You get a welcome drink and then some desserts at the end. Very delicious! Definitely worth the time and money to come. Plus the drive back down is beautiful! You have panoramic views of the island. Just fyi, no bathrooms, only a porta-potty. It wasn't a bad one I just wished I had gone before I went.

Such a wonderful experience! We learned so much about growing vanilla beans and the vanilla industry. This tour included a delicious vanilla beverage, two vanilla desserts, and some hands on activities! We could not have felt more welcome, and everyone in our group found the tour interesting and enjoyable— even the teenager!
This was a great tour & I’m so glad we decided to take it. Candace & Clay were wonderful. We had no idea how much labor is involved in growing vanilla! The cheesecake & ice cream at the end were amazing. Can’t wait to try some of the vanilla powder in my baking.
This is a small but amazing operation and the owners/operators (Clay & Candace) share a terrific amount of history & knowledge about vanilla. Great time for the whole family of adult children (& grandson)! Would completely recommend!
This was a wonderful and such an informative tour. The owners were friendly and it was a relaxed feel. The samples were absolutely delicious! They have a nicely stocked gift shop too. My family was impressed and I strongly recommend this to anyone who loves vanilla!
The Maui Vanilla Farm Tour was amazing! I had no idea what went into growing a product that I use regularly. I have been to Maui many times and am so glad I found something so unique, beautiful and full of aloha. Not only was the tour amazing, the people behind the tour and the grounds are super amazing as well. I love this part of the island and it is well worth the trip - although it is so centrally located that it’s not far from anywhere. Let me talk about the staff for a second - the research, passion and energy that they have put into their farm is unmatched. It was inspiring to hear of their passion project from taking this idea in their minds to “fruition”. They have literally built everything for this production from hand. And, there are bookend surprises that will tantalize your sense of taste. I’m going to leave it at that. You will have to go on the tour to understand what I am talking about - you won’t be disappointed!
Maui vanilla farm is a wonderful Excursion for friends arriving from out of town, or just an afternoon to go support your local farmers. Candice and Clay are a Hospitable couple, very knowledgeable and truly ebullient in their Joy of vanilla farming. We loved our day there
Absolutely the best tour ever! Great hosts and awesome explanations. So much I never knew! We were there for 2 1/2 hours for a 90 minute tour. Loved the food and I learned so much. Easy walk.
It was very interesting experience in learning about how vanilla is grown. Amazing hospitality and personal touch from Candace and Clay. The cheesecake and ice cream was delicious! It is a must experience if in Maui.
