Small group whale watching onboard our small group, smooth ride raft vessel. Native Hawaiian owned and voted TripAdvisors Traveler's Choice, Hawaii Ocean Rafting has been Maui’s original ocean experience for more than 30 years. Our small group tours make for a fun, family style experience. Although dolphins are protected in Hawaii and we do not approach them closer than federal regulations, they often approach our small vessel for closer and eye level dolphin encounters. Due to style of vessel, tour does not permit pregnant persons, persons with back or neck injuries or children under 3 years.

The meeting point is MANDATORY CHECK-IN 30 minutes prior to start time at tour operator Hawaii Ocean Rafting location. Park on near Lahaina Cannery and check-in at 1223 Front St., located next to Snorkel Bobs. No refunds for late arrivals. Due to closed roads & traffic, plan additional travel time.. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Captain Zach and crewmember Meredith could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. They were both so engaging and had so much interesting information to share with us. We got lucky and saw dolphins shortly after we departed and boy did we see 100’s of them. Fantastic excursion and Zach and Meredith made it better because of the interesting things they shared with us!!
This was a great experience! We saw 50 or more dolphins at least...many very up close and personal! The crew were knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommended.
A fun experience for the family. Saw many dolphins and some babies. We also saw turtles as the raft takes off by a popular turtles cleaning station. We enjoyed it.
Overall it is a good experience. they told you to be there 30 mins ahead of time. We went there earlier and it felt a bit wasted of time while waiting. The search for dolphins was good and fun. Jake and Nicole were good. I wish the ending was more with dolphins instead of seeing other things. I also felt it ended a bit earlier than schedule time.
We loved this experience! The two guides were excellent - very knowledgeable and made it fun. It was really special to see dolphins in the wild.
My family and I had an amazing experience on the Eco Raft dolphin tour! Even brought our three year old 🥰 We saw so many dolphins….it was absolutely incredible and far exceeded our expectations. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job sharing educational information about the marine life and the local environment throughout the tour. We also really appreciated the snacks and drinks they provided, which were a thoughtful touch. It was the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and relaxation. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
Incredible experience. Dolphins were right next to our feet. Saw baby dolphins and even an out of season whale. Guide and captain were great. Absolutely must do!

This was worth every penny! Great guides, snacks, and sights! There were. So many dolphins - it was unbelievable!
The captain and Bri were both great. Very informative excursion and fun. We saw a lot of dolphins, some turtles, and heard a bit of history about Hawaii including local legends. Educational and wonderful trip. Highly recommend!
