Although the walk was brief—lasting no more than five to eight minutes—it felt like the prelude to an unfolding story, with the soft rustle of leaves and the distant sound of water enhancing the suspense of what lay ahead. Upon reaching the shore, they were greeted by Angelo, a guide whose warmth and welcoming smile immediately established the day’s tone. He spoke with the patience of someone who had long called these waters home, his hands moving with practiced skill as he demonstrated the intricate art of fishing. His kindness enveloped the group like a gentle current, drawing them into the rhythm of the experience before they realized it. The hours seemed to pass in a dreamlike state. Only a select few—five to nine at most—shared the serene environment, creating the feeling of an exclusive gathering, a secret retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Laughter resonated across the water as lines were cast and the first fish were caught, each catch celebrated as a collective triumph.
