Brilliant from start to finish.

This is a fantastic way to end the trip or start your trip to Tanzania. It was our first day after we arrived in the new country that we had never been to before. Naima was welcoming and picking up from our hotel and we went to Arusha downtown and we visited the central food market for a short tour, and then I come to know why people make this tour to be a top rated in Arusha, Is very local market and you get to meet the true friendly Tanzanians. Our best part was the kitchen part we went with our best instructor that led us for the whole class from start to finish. This is absolutely a must do experience in Tanzania. Highly recommend.

Very good experience

The experience was great. We thought it was going to be more touristy, but we were alone in the Maasai village, we were able to chat, see all the houses, their dances, and the delicious food under a tree

Great day at the Maasai...

Great day at the Maasai village and in town. Everyone super friendly and welcoming. Very delicious lunch. Praylord has been very opened to share his culture and story. I have learned a lot. Will recommend friends to join this tour next time they are here. Could bring some children clothes for the kids, wish I have done that.

Authentic experience

Great family experience. A wonderful and true way to show my family what life is like in Tanzania. This is not something you can experience on safari. It's a genuine unique and authentic experience.

Fantastic experience!!

I have been in the travel industry for nearly 40 years and this was among the best tours I have ever taken. I was surprised when we were picked up in an older bus but being on the tour, I realize it was needed as the village was very remote. I would do it again!

Need to do this if you come to Arusha

This was a great experience from the easy transportation to the explanation of the history and culture of Arusha and the Massai tribe. I would highly recommend booking this our guide. Praylord was very friendly and very informative. He told us everything we needed to know, and even answered all the questions we had, even though some of them were random questions, not even related to the tour. I think this is a great experience for couples families or even if you’re a solo traveler, it was very safe. I would highly recommend booking this and specifically ask for Praylord because he was awesome!

Great cultural tour with a memorable village visit

This was a really memorable experience from start to finish. The tour around Arusha was a great intro — very lively and colorful, especially the Maasai Market and the food and spice market. The highlight for me was visiting the Maasai village. The welcome with songs and dancing felt real, not staged, and hearing the village chief talk gave it more meaning. I even tried the jumping dance, which was fun (and harder than it looks). What made it special was how immersive it felt — not just watching, but actually being part of it. If you have the time, I’d definitely recommend staying overnight. It’s really peaceful, and the sunsets are beautiful. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants a more genuine cultural experience in Tanzania.

So fun

If you’re thinking about visiting Tanzania, I can very much recommend to book the Maasai village experience in Arusha. When visiting we realized it’s a full-on cultural moment. You’re welcomed like a friend, wrapped in vibrant Maasai shukas, and pulled right into the energy. You get to experience music and traditions that feel incredibly real. It felt special standing in the middle of the village with the incredible people and the kids playing, while also learning how they live. If you want more than just sightseeing, and want to have an experience I would recommend this.
