My guide Dr Mo (his nickname) is very knowledgeable about a lot of things. He is a PHD who has worked with the Smithsonian in Washington DC. He is also an entrepreneur and we played several rounds of a board game that he developed. He also taught me to write my name and my birthdate in hieroglyphics. We had a good lunch prepared by the friendly farm family. I was able to ask him lots of questions about Egyptian culture and about his experiences in the US.

We had an amazing time on this trip to Egypt. The landscapes, history and monuments were breathtaking, but what really made the difference was our guide. He was just awesome: super nice, passionate, always smiling and full of fascinating anecdotes. You could feel that he really enjoyed sharing his knowledge, and he was able to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the day.
