We had three tours with Nasco which we booked at the Hilton Luxor with Viola who was so helpful. All three exceeded our expectations we particularly loved the West Bank including Valley of the kings the Egyptologist Mamdoo was excellent. Karnak and Luxor was mind blowing and Abdhul was very good and informative.
We did east bank Temples tour as well as West Bank Tombs, Valley of Kings and Valley of Queens tour. The gentleman at Nasco office at the Hilton Luxor was delightful and worked out a schedule and price that suited us perfectly. He also provided a driver to take us to the airport. Our guide, Ahmed, was equally delightful and knowledgeable; he has a Master’s in Archaeology and his English is excellent. He assured us that his colleagues are all formally educated in the field. We were very happy with Nasco. And the car had WiFi Travel hacks. Tour guides are not allowed in the tombs, which makes sense because large groups stopping to listen would completely block everyone from progressing through the very narrow corridors. So locals enter to offer to help and explain and point things out (all of which Ahmed had advised us to look for ahead of time) then they demand a fee for their assistance. I doubt they speak languages other than their native Arabic and English; maybe French, so we told them in Finnish that we didn’t speak English and they left us alone. Of course, if they speak Finnish and you’ve only learned that one phrase, you’re out of luck, but very low risk and worth it. At the domestic terminal, young men in official looking red shirts will escort you and also demand a fee. I’m not sure why the airport allows this, they are privately employed and don’t do anything except to take you to where it’s obvious you need to go; clearly signed check in desk, security. They are varying degrees of aggressive in demanding baksheesh for thus non-service. Avoid them. NB YOU HAVE TO TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES FOR SECURITY! No exceptions.
Toni was an incredible guide; so knowledgeable & insightful - his history degree with hieroglyphics minor really bought the stories of the temples to life. He was so considerate, genuinely warm & despite his 20 years of experience in teaching visitors about his country’s rich history, you can see his passion still ignites when he’s asked questions. I’m so glad our little group chose to have him guide us instead of simply walking around ourselves - the experience was so much the richer for it. I can’t speak for other guide but Toni is world class and Mohamed Anwar in the Hilton Luxor office made the whole organisation smooth as silk - can’t recommend these guys highly enough. FYI: Toni speaks perfect English, Italian, Arabic (his mother tongue) and his Spanish is coming along nicely!
A tour of a lifetime! Nermeen exceeded my expectations! I couldn’t have asked for a better guide! <3
An unforgettable experience on the East Bank of Luxor. Our tour guide (Ahmed Abd El Hamid, recommended!) was super professional with a lot of knowledge. We got to see Karnak Temple, Perfume Palace and the Luxor Temple (at night). Amazing history and scenery that needs to be explored!!

We stayed at the Hilton Luxor and booked our private guide at the hotel. Our guide for the day was Nermeen, she was on-time for our 6:45 am departure meeting us in the lobby.. her English was on point as she's from Luxor. We were a family of 3 for the tour and really appreciated her including our child during the tour with fun tasks at the sites. She has great knowledge of everything we visited and it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this company and Nermeen for your personal guide during your stay in Luxor

We did about 5 tours total in our stay in between Cairo, Giza & Luxor. Without a doubt! In my mind the best tour guide we came across and how I had wished I met him first so I could have solicited him for ALL my tours. Unbeknownst to me this gentleman not just gave us a tour and explained as if it were his job ... But he immersed us in a experience and treated us no lesser than if we where his own flesh and blood! *ADEL El Assad* +20 122 348 8849. He was passionate in his teachings and proud in his demeanor!! Highly recommended!! - Carlos Lugo
I came across Nasco Tours through the Hilton Luxor Hotel. From my very first interaction, the team was competent, helpful, and willing to create a great experience for my family and I. My first interaction was about 2 months prior to a trip to Cairo and Luxor. Initially, I was disucssing only Luxor tours. See image attached of their options. We chose Tours 1, 2, and 3 over three days. Our tour guide Marian (see photo) was incredible. Far and away the best tour guide my family and I have ever had. She studied Egyptology at the University and is incredibly knowledgeable. She currently is a tour guide in Arabic, French, and English. Each step of the way, she inquired to the level of knowledge we desired and provided details of each location, including reading and translating the inscriptions. She advised what to see, unique stories of the history, and space to enjoy it. Marian had our van stop to get cold water while we visited different stops along the way. Each stop, she insisted we not get out, to allow her to get water and not be disturbed by locals over-selling items. At my request, Nasco Tours also arranged some custom tours for Cairo. Originally, I thought they were decent tours, but after Luxor, the level was not the same. I came to know that the Cairo tours were sub-contracted to another company.
