This full-day tour takes you from Luxor to two of Egypt's most impressive and well-preserved ancient temples: Dendara and Abydos. These sites are less visited than some of Luxor's main attractions, offering a unique and less crowded experience.

Itinerary
Early pickup from your Luxor hotel (typically around 5:00-6:00 AM) - Drive north from Luxor (about 2.5 hours) to reach Dendara
- Explore the Temple of Hathor, the main attraction at Dendara - See the famous Dendara Zodiac ceiling - Visit the rooftop shrines and enjoy panoramic views - Explore the underground crypts (if open) - Visit other structures in the complex, including the Sacred Lake and Sanatorium
Lunch - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (usually included in the tour price)
- Drive to Abydos (about 1.5 hours from Dendara) - Explore the Temple of Seti I, the main attraction at Abydos - See the famous Abydos King List - Admire the well-preserved colorful reliefs - Visit the Osireion, a unique sunken structure behind Seti I's temple
Return drive to Luxor (about 3 hours) - Drop-off at your Luxor hotel (usually around 7:00-8:00 PM)

We chose to make only the temple of dendera. 1 hour drive from Luxor. Oman gave us information about different aspects of the temple, it was very interesting. The temple is beautiful, with superb columns very high. Amazing to see the preservation of period colors.
